The room was ok but no microwave or fridge in the room. Continental breakfast looked good, coffee was not hot. There was also this weird white build up on the spout for the coffee pot. The water in the shower did not get warm enough. I had an allergic reaction to the shower gel and hand soap.
We needed to leave a day early because of a snow storm in the area. When I asked for a refund for the remaining night I was told no. This after having phone calls and e-mails from management to provide them with more info. In the end, management ghosted me.
Our shower and toilet were not very clean.. the rooms are tiny even for 2 people. I would not book if I brought my kids along and itâs a tight fit. Lounge/lobby is nice. We spent time there to get out of the box of a room.
The room was good, the hotel was clean and new. The staff was good and attentive. Our air conditioner made a noise that kept me up all night. Had to switch rooms the next day. The food was good as well.
Staff was great although⊠didnât get room we reserved-room we ended up with, bare room so much echoing made conversation hard to understand-didnât have toilet paper holder-impossible to find light switches-cut my leg getting out of bed (exposed sharp metal bed frame)-breakfast was minimal and cold)-microwave wonât work, even staff had problems!!! I wanted to checkout and goto another hotel right from the beginning kinda ruined my plans for a relaxing extended weekend.
The price was ridiculously high for what we received in value, especially since I thought from the description that the facility had a bar and nighttime snacks (turned out to not be a bar but a front case with chips and candy bars soda and beer) Itâs possible our experience wouldâve been better if we had the room we reserved, however doubtful.
Not sure if Tru by Hilton is an experimental concept However they should stick to what they know.
Again the staff was very courteous and tried their best.
The room was clean and nice. Property appears to be fairly new, so area around doesnât have much landscapingâŠbut thatâs not why I was there. Bed was super comfortable. But the curtains!! They had a BLACKOUT SHADE that actually worked!! I can honestly say, this is the first time I have ever slept good in a hotel room! The only slight problem I had, was the faucet in the bathroom. The handle needed a simple repair (a set screw needed tightened). I notified the hotel staff when leaving the next morning. He took a note and said he would have it fixed. All of the staff was very friendly and courteous. It was a wonderful overnight stay at Tru by Hilton!
