When I arrived with my service animal, the front desk demanded “ID” for the animal and refused check-in, even after I showed ADA guidelines. My service animal was waiting in my car and not disruptive. The hotel’s Expedia listing allows service animals, yet staff ignored federal rules. Very frustrating and inconvenient.
