Convenient for racecourse - slow to check in and unable to get any food as fully booked even though empty tables - which was ok as we went to a local place and ate which was delicious Drinks over priced and no water in the room you have to buy it from reception! Think 2 bottles complimentary in the fridge would be a nice touch as rooms aren’t cheap

It was okay. We had a room with the racecourse view but the smell coming out of the drain was very very bad. Made me feel unwell the whole night. The staff were very nice and we didn’t tell them about it until the next morning as the smell didn’t start until 1 or 2am and we didn’t want to change our room in the middle of the night.

Everyone will tell you about the smallish car park, but the hotel is clean, quiet and with an enviable position. It has well trained, polite and cheerful staff. My only problem was my mobility problem. Climbing into the bath for a shower was awkward for me.

I’ve stayed a number of times and always been happy but this stay was different. There was an event on which completely ruined our meal as the noise was crazy. We literally couldn’t hear each other speak…it was extremely overwhelming. If anyone had warned us we would have ordered room service instead. The music from the party/event was so loud it was pumping through the hotel which meant we couldn’t sleep. Again, if I’d been warned I would never have booked to stay. I switched from premier inn to the Hilton for my frequent visits to Doncaster as the rooms are so much better however after my most recent stay I’ve decided to switch back as it feel like profit of a party was definitely prioritised over the guests actually staying in the hotel. Really disappointing
