The home was PERFECT and stocked with everything that we could possibly need during our stay! Immaculate and so spacious, we had plenty of room to spread out, beds were so comfy and had privacy from neighbors. Grill and fire pit were so wonderful and cannot believe how perfect the decor was. Thank you for a great stay!!! Looking forward to another stay!!!

YOU MUST STAY HERE!

I rarely do reviews, and when I do so it's because of either the absurdity or superiority of the experience. This experience was 100% the latter. This was our 1st time trying out a rental/airbnb type of stay. So, obviously we hoped for the best but mentally prepared ourselves for the mediocre. Mediocre this was NOT! IT WAS FABULOUS IN EVERY WAY. We're from the country so coming in contact with nature is nothing new for us. Nor is a county-cared for gravel road and all that entails. It was so very, very quiet. The "neighbors" are respectful and friendly. We loved the fact that the property had its own private gate, was a single story, 3 out of 4 bedrooms had king beds with 4th having a queen, outdoor shower, private swim dock, kayaks to use, water closets in 2 out of 3 baths, ceiling fans in bathrooms, comfortable beds, all smart tvs, long skewers for toasting marshmallows, firewood provided, filtered water from frig, big comfy bath towels, and the hosts are the best ! Even when the power went out - Dustin kept us updated on the progress of the power company! He truly CARES about your experience while you're there. We LOVED it and have already shared the link to the property with my husband's boss! Thank you so very, very much Dustin. We hope to be blessed with another chance to stay asap. Great place!

This was a great place to stay. It was very clean. Each bedroom had a t.v. The beds are large and spacious. We used this space as a pastors’ retreat for us to have meetings and get some R&R. It was fantastic for this purpose. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to bring my family here one summer.

The Perfect Getaway!

My four friends and I needed serious relaxation and this property hit the nail on the head! The house is absolutely charming and has all the comforts needed to watch TV, cook, roast marshmallows, etc. Ceiling fans inside and outside were nice since it was still warm during the day. The showers have luxury fixtures that are always appreciated. The beds are comfortable. The property location was beautiful and manicured and we had gorgeous foliage The water was too low for kayaking, etc. but our host let us know that when we booked. It is a steep walk down to the dock so keep that in mind if you have physical limitations or rambling toddlers. Our aim was to eat, play games, and rest. It was perfect and we plan to rent this property again in the future.

Awesome place for a family with multiple couples and children

Checking in was a breeze. Everything was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Internet worked great, which was good because we had pretty much no cell service, but no one minded. The kayaks were so much fun and provided some good exercise. We are already trying to plan another trip to this cute little cabin in the woods on the lake. Dustin is awesome and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the excellent communication and the ease of renting this property.

Family get together

We rented this house for my brother and his family because it's close to our weekend place. We had a family get together with people from Maryland, California, Tennessee, and Alabama. The house was great. The host was great too. He responded to questions and issues promptly. He gave us his cell number so we could text him with any questions. It was a great place to rent and we'll definitely use it again.

Not our favorite

We've done many rentals and Dustin was the most responsive host. The king size beds were very comfortable. Area was quiet and private. Not sure who checks property after renters leave but outside trash can was 2/3 full of trash on our arrival. The keys to the kayaks that were supposed to be in the kitchen cabinet were not there because the kayaks were left unlocked with one of them laying on the ground instead of the rack. Paddles that were supposed to be in a closet were on the concrete patio, which is where we left them when we left. When leaving, we tried to lock the kayaks up but the cable lock (with the key in it) would not work and we couldn't get the key out.The only flat surface facing the water is the concrete patio and the view of the water is blocked if sitting on the supplied chairs due to the grading. The slope is extremely steep and very slippery when wet. Really great cardio workout climbing back up the hill. Although comfortable bedding for eight there is only living room seating for six. The interior of the rental lacked ambiance and the polished concrete floor didn't do anything to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Although the home is new the propane grill is an old, dirty, Char Broil that really shows its age with rusty flame tamers and a dry rotted cover. It took an hour to finally get the gas to the burners plus more time to make the grill worthy of cooking on. Stop at WalMart and pick up anything you might need before arriving.

The house was beautiful and as listed. Outdoor /yard space is slightly limited due to the steep hill leading to the water. It was fine for our group but just something to be aware of. Property manager was very helpful and always available. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay.

One of my top stays. The accommodations were excellent. Very clean. Everything you would need to make an exceptional vacation. I had a question about equipment, the property manager answered promptly and with clear and helpful instructions. I would definitely stay here again!!

Family getaway

Before we ever arrived, Dustin was incredible with providing details about the property and checking in. He is by far one of the best host my family has ever worked with. The home was just as described. We had 6 adults and more than enough room to accommodate everyone. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the beds were very comfortable The water and view was really nice. The property is very secluded and the privacy was a huge plus. The outdoor seating area was perfect. Our family enjoyed the kayaks, swimming and fishing off the dock. We even rented a boat from a local marina and was able to tie off at the dock. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Dustin for allowing us to enjoy your lake home.
