The dinning, bar lounge very good. Excellent staff at the restaurant esp dinner n excellent food. Room quite expensive, no breakfast included. Not even a crossiant or muffins esp with kids in the morning. Its a feel good environment and i would definitely go next time.

Quiet place.

Pros: All staff were nice and cooperative.
Cons: Air conditioning. A shuttle to the beach.
We were unfortunate to go there during hot weather. It was 30C and the hotel had no air conditioning. They did provide fans, but at night they were not enough. Two sleepless nights. Staff were friendly, and booked us taxis whenever we went out. Hotel is too far from the beach, and walking there would take 1.5 hours due to the nature of the area.

Quiet hotel convenient for Dover

Pros: It was quiet and close to Dover.
Cons: A fridge in the room would be nice.
Location: Close to Dover Castle, and the White Cliffs.
My room was large and comfortable and with a large TV, a safe, heating, but no minibar or fridge. The hotel was very quiet with plenty of parking, and only 10 minutes drive from Dover port. There is a petrol station and McDonalds nearby, and although being just off the main road, it was down a quiet side street so no traffic noise. I did not use the restaurant or the small Costa shop in the foyer.

Very 70s

Pros: Close to the town centre
Cons: Up date!
Location: Mcdonalds next door, dont pay their exorbitant breakfast prices.
This hotel is as clean as it can be considering its very much used as a stop over hotel. We booked a suite which was smaller than most rooms in other hotels. Its very dated! But it served a purpose well and I would stay against n.

perfect overnight location (but check A2 closures)

i booked this because I needed to be in Ascot that evening and had a 6.15 boat at dover the next morning. unfortunately the A2 was closed on the night of my visit but luckily my GPS with live traffic recognised this and directed me via Folkestone and jubilee way, dover. directions from whitfield roundabout to the hotel by local roads were just about acceptable. efficient friendly check in. room on ground floor (this is a low rise building) close which was good given that we didn't arrive until after 11pm. room much better than expected if a tad small but it had a full size bath with lots of hot water and was warm and cozy bed comfy, good quality linens and towels. my wife had breakfast which she though fair value for money with plenty of variety. she ate late and said that several items were in limited supply but, to be fair, she didn't ask for these to be topped up. early morning call made on time - vital at this sort of place reception and lounge nice with, I think, an open fire overall I would rate it 3 1/2 star just make sure you have a map of its exact location definitely recommended

Lovely

The hotel was fairly good and the main staff were helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was very good. I would stay there again for sure. My only criticism the service staff left only one towel for showering for a room with 2 people and they did not top up the tea and milk in the room.

Overnight visit before cycling sportive

We booked the Ramada Dover on the basis of the hotel chain and where it was located. The room was adequate but when we went to bed the bedding was tired, like its occupants, and we could not sleep. It just did not feel fresh and when you have an early start in the morning you want to feel ready for the day ahead. I would not recommend this hotel for this primary reason.
