    There were no lights in parking lot at night. No signs for street or name of property. Requested a 2 queen bed non smoking and initially given. 1 king bed smoking room but went back to desk and they "found the room I requested.

    Ask for a renovated room.

    It was good. The only thing is they originally gave us an old room, not one which has been renovated. So ask for a renovated room and you will be fine.

    Friendly staff, but not great conditions yet.

    The hotel was just being renovated from another owner. It smelled like paint which I understood. However, there was cleanliness issues in the hallways and in the corners of the room. Even though they had updated or were in the process of updating, the toilet tissue roll was rusty And other issues with the room. I decided not to stay there again.

    Relax in Dowagiac.

    A welcoming smile after a long day and a late check-in. Very helpful with local dining options. I will come back if the opportunity arises. A comfy bed with the basics ie Fridge and microwave .

    Clean, cold air and a comfy bed.

    This was recently purchased by a new owner. If you need a clean room with good A/C, a comfy bed, good shower and toilet at a great price then this is your place. If you’re looking for the Ritz this is not your place. Room had a frig but no microwave and some things are a bit dated. But it was clean, bug free and comfy. There was a microwave downstairs that you could use. All and all we were happy and it served the purpose.

    We did not know the property just changed hands a few weeks ago. Here for a near by wedding. We were just at about the only ones there. No free breakfast. Front desk women was nice. Almost charged twice for rooms. I had paid on Expedia and she was going to charge my son and I again. She did clear it up after speaking to her manager.The beds and bedding were nice.
