Best Value Hotel for Experiencing Dublin

This hotel reminds me of "Pod 39" and "Pod 51" in New York City; you feel as though your staying in an "Ikea" modelled bedroom. Although small, it is modern, clean and well designed use of space. The bonus with citizenM basic rooms is that you get a King Size Bed, room safe and mini fridge. (Not offered at "Pod 39 or 51"). CitizenM offers the best value if you are looking for clean & modern place to sleep when you are not out experiencing everything Dublin has to offer.

Nice hotel, but too little room for too much.

This is the smallest hotel room i have ever stayed in, and i have travelled through 165 countries and stayed at more than 400 hotels. At AUD 575 for one night stay, it ranks as the most expensive room per square foot above any hotel i stayed at in Amalfi, Sorrento, Venice, Portofino, San Gimagnano, Paris, London, Stockholm, Oslo, LA, New York, Vienna, Prague, Budapest, Munich, Cologne and Berlin, all of which cost more but gave 2 to 4 times the floor area and furnishings.

This is a new morden hotel good for young people or short term business traveler，lobby is very big and busy，looks as an WeWork Office，but room is too small，not worth the money. The lighting control system is hard to control. Room clean is almost no，the so called “light clean” is just changing the towels，we requested for deep cleaning one day，but found there's still hair in the shower ground and one of the towel hasn't changed.

Friendly + Convenient… what more I could I ask for

New hotel and everything felt fresh. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Lived my cozy room and slept like a baby on the comfortable bed. Lots of tech to control things in the room - don’t be intimidated, but it takes a sec to learn something new. Location across the street from St. Patrick’s Cathedral and a short walk to Temple Bar made this a great place to stay.

Absolutely loved this hotel! From the moment we walked in to check-in, until the moment we left after check-out, we were made to feel like part of a family. First, the staff were great. However, the room I was given had malfunctioning outlets, no phone, and a malfunctioning iPad which controlled the temperature. When someone came to fix the outlets, they said they blew because of my adapter so I went and bought another one. The breakers blew again. I tested both adapters in the hallway plug and both had no issues. However, maintenance had left and I would have no power in the room until the next day. The solution I was given was to plug my phone into the lobby outlet overnight which was not an option. I was finally given a new room after asking. As a smaller complaint, I was given a room with neon purple lighting in the bathroom which was horrible for makeup and couldn’t be turned off. As for location, it was convenient to attractions.

It was awesome! Retro style hotel very clean and quiet. Staff were all very nice from check in restaurant and bar. It definitely is a unique hotel close to all shopping bars and restaurants and attractions you would be interested in. Room was controlled by iPad (tv, lights, mood lights and blinds).

Hotel was very clean and I absolutely love that you can control the lights, TV, air and curtains/blinds with the iPad in the room and even better, you can just use the app to do the same. The hotel was completely walkable from the city centre and in a nice, quiet area. Easily accessible to public transit. I'll be staying here on my return trip.

Simple hotel not many frills. The most of the staff was friendly. One thing that was frustrating is the room is controlled by iPads while watching tv it shuts off every 30 minutes. If you change channels you often need to restart the tv. I believe the room lights shut down around 2 hours. I think this is the eco friendly part but is frustrating if you are in the room for extended time
