We loved our stay at this lovely cabin. The pics really don't do it justice and it felt bigger than it looks. We had plenty of space for the kids to feel like they could get away and mom and dad to have their own space too. Each bedroom has a TV with Roku access if you want to watch TV/movies, you can play on the gaming stations, have a rousing game of ping-pong downstairs, or sit and read a book on the outside swing. We were soooo relaxed!!
This place was full of thoughtful touches- like everything being labeled (EVERYTHING)- we've never rented a house where we didn't have to search for things. I loved how easy it was to know where to look for what we needed, especially in the kitchen. Some of the basic supplies were provided, and we knew going in what to pick up from the store ahead of time.
There is NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was perfect for us at this time of year- windows open and fans on kept the house very reasonable but I wanted to make sure everyone knows that.
Also, no reflection on the house at all but Duck Creek Village is TINY. They aren't kidding when they say the closest grocery is 30-45 minutes away. This is definitely a secluded place. It was great for us but we were a little surprised how rural it was.
Tyler and Kristin have a beautiful place, they are great hosts who have put a ton of thought and effort into ensuring you have a wonderful stay, and I can't recommend this place enough. We hope to come back in the winter and enjoy the snow!
