This beautiful chalet hideaway has a vacation atmosphere that provides guests with the tools needed to unwind and enjoy life on Seneca Lake! Named after the calming, babbling brook near the house, Brookside has an appeal all to its own, making it a desirable destination for families and couples who wish to enjoy the famous Seneca Lake Wine Trail.

A long winding gravel drive leads to the lower level parking area. The main entry via sliding glass doors leads into a generously sized family recreation room on the lower level. Designed for hours of entertaining, this area features a bar and pool table as well as cozy living room furniture and a TV for enjoying a game or movie in the evenings. In the rear of the recreation room you will find a full size bed, and half bathroom. The lake view here is incredible and unparalleled, and located just steps from the 6 person hot tub on the patio!

An interior staircase opens into a stunning great room, featuring an oversized sectional sofa, open country kitchen, and dining table with seating for six. Two bedrooms, furnished with two singles each, provide a great place for kids, or can be pushed together to create a King bed. The master bedroom located in the loft is spacious, and offers a queen bed in the room itself and a single bed just in the hallway. When the creek is running, guests can even fall asleep to the beautiful sound of the babbling brook!

A blow up air mattress is located in the laundry room, and guests are welcome to use it to create additional sleeping space.

With over 150 feet of natural, level lakefront reaching out over the point, there is room for a variety of lakefront activities. Children will love the expansive pebble beach, where they can collect shells and skip stones into the lake. Guests that bring a boat can house it safely in the hoist when not in use, and enjoy sunning and even fishing from the large permanent dock. On calms days, a variety of non motorized watercraft are available to enjoy exploring the miles of shoreline and diverse bird population.

Brookside is located just 5 miles from the small town of Dundee, where guests can shop for groceries and purchase gasoline. With Watkins Glen and Geneva on either end of the lake, a variety of area attractions are within a half hour drive. And for the wine lover, Brookside is located right in the middle of Finger Lakes Wine Country, with several outstanding and award winning wineries just minutes away!
