Great stay but could use minor improvements

The TVs are not smart TVs and with young kids it would have been nice to be able to use some streaming services for the kids. So, if you are staying here you may want to bring a streaming device for tv service. The internet was not good. I tried working but using simple websites and email was not even functional. The power did go out on Friday night through Saturday morning but can’t imagine this should affect the internet and TV service through Monday night. Everything else was great. Good beds, good kitchen area, and good living room area. I would stay again. Very convenient location.

Ski week 2023

We have stayed in the Purgatory resort properties for years and by far this was the worse rental we had. No starter pack for kitchen
left overs from previous renters
no dishwasher soap Grill needs repair.. heat shield non existent dirty Dishwasher - yuck Oven filthy Beds lumpy and non supportive Fireplace doesn’t light up fully Lint screen filthy No starter pack in bathrooms Bathroom very nice Quiet Towels and pot holders worn Light out over cook top Light bulb missing from lamp in living room I am providing this information, 1 to make sure what cleaning/management fee the owners pay actually goes to prepping the condo for the next renter and 2 that others know about the shape it’s in
.a little maintenance and upkeep goes along way to satisfying renters. Thank you, Dennis and Hayley

Very comfortable and convenient.

Very close to ski racks and lockers which was nice with children. Loved having the lodge for meals. Property manager was very quick to respond to a small issue. The pictures in the listing were not completely accurate. The listing states that the 2nd bathroom had a jetted tub and dbl vanity. It did not. We would definitely stay in this building again.

Great location

The location is fantastic- the property was an overall 3.5- working the the people from the property management group was fantastic- especially since there was an error with our check in- the technology is very outdated- the TVs don’t allow sign into Netflix or any other streaming - they had a speaker that takes cds(?) there is hardly any over head lighting- so be prepared for dark rooms, the lamps had several blown out light bulbs - and there wasn’t any dish soap for the dishwasher or replacement trash bags - the place was clean enough
. But could of been better - you can’t beat the location ! So I would probably stay again- I hope they update some lamps and TVs

Perfect location

We travel to Purgatory every year, and there is no better place to stay than The Lodge for easy access to the ski lifts and the after ski amenities. This condo was spacious, clean and comfortable. Check in and communication was easy and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway for Memories of a Lifetime

My husband and I rented this 3 bedroom/3 bath unit to enjoy time with our daughter, son in law and grandson! We loved the unit, it had everything we needed to enjoy our time. We cooked in all meals except one night out! Centrally located to all things skiing. Pool, hot tub, gym and Purgys for a beverage! And Santa was able to easily locate our unit to drop off presents! Winning!!

Beautiful

The place was spacious and beautiful. Nicely decorated and the WII was a nice touch. Could use some floor fans as it can get hot. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

Very very dirty.

This could take all day. Absolute filth. Pet urine smell nasty carpet, pet hair everywhere. Nothing had been dusted, beds sheets, pillow cases covered in hair. The further we looked, the more nasty conditions we discovered.

good stuff

Everything one needs to be comfortable and have fun. The access to the clubhouse was a good option for dinner getting in later on Friday night. Everyone was able to play in the pool and hot tub too.

Great retreat!

This was by far one of the best VRBOs we've ever stayed in! It was spacious, clean and even better than the listing. It was perfect for us (two couples) and provided privacy for each couple. Both the location and the view were absolutely wonderful. The host was so helpful and prompt in her responses! Anytime we are in this area we will stay here!

The condo and the location were perfect for our stay. It was a family gathering. We had lots of room. Everything was as described. Lots of activities at the Resort and in the surrounding area. All in all, it couldn't have been better.

Durango Area Stay

This property was great! Clean, great location and nice amenities. The area, however, could use a few more places to eat. Activities in Purgatory were a bit pricey for a family of four, so we opted to take advantage of the pool and other free options in the village. It would be nice if the resort would consider a lower price for the chairlift.

Great Location, Huge Condo, Fantastic Experience!

We were so happy with our stay at this condo in Purg! We used to live in Durango, and we wanted to bring our friends there to show them around. We had a little hiccup with the room to start, but Jennifer was so accommodating and helpful, it was no real issue at all. Sometimes things don't go perfectly, but when you have a host that is willing to do what it takes to make it right, it's worth noting! Not everyone is so great! The Condo is actually a LOT bigger than the pictures let on, which was wonderful. It's nice and updated and the view of the plaza is great! Great mountain views all around! The appliances worked great too, and it really was such a comfortable stay. We were all so pleased with our stay, I cannot say enough good things about it.

Perfect location and everything we could need

This condo was wonderful and exactly as described! The location was beyond perfect and it was so easy to get to and from the ski slopes with our three young children. Accessing the ski shuttle to go down to the lessons area was basically right outside the door and having a reserved parking spot and ski locker was an added benefit! We were able to easily eat lunch in the condo as well and take a little break from the cold. The condo was great and very spacious. We had everything we needed from linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We can't wait to stay there again!

Great Long Weekend with Family

My family just finished up a 4 night stay at Purgatory and this Condo was fantastic! Just a short elevator ride down to the PL (plaza level) and you are right at the slopes. Perfect for my boys, ages 10 and 7. Jennifer was quick to respond to all my questions and even worked to allow us to check in 2 hours early so that we could go grab our skis. The condo is well stocked with towels, shampoos/soaps, laundry detergent (I had brought my own), kitchen items, crockpot, coffee maker and really anything you could need. The beds were comfy and the condo is very spacious. The only, and very small problem we had, was that we had to ask for more toliet paper (only one roll per bathroom) and we ran out of paper towels and trash bags. Trash disposal was easy as the condo staff will pick it up if you set it outside. Jennifer was quick to get the TP to us and I didn't ask about the other things but I'm sure she would have taken care of us. We are already planning our trip for next year! Highly recommend.
