Great location, spacious and comfortable

The hotel is in a great location, easy walk into the city centre. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I loved the hydration stations on each floor to refill the water bottle. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

We had the most amazing time away, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were great and managed to get us in 2 hours earlier than our check in time. We would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Hotel in a good location for visiting Durham, everything within walking distance. Friendly & helpful reception staff. Comfortable & clean. Didn't have the breakfast there, walked over footbridge to The Bishops Mill Wetherspoons for breakfast

Durham.

stayed 2 nights for a short visit to Durham and surrounds. Excellent choice of hotel.Newly renovated superior room on 4th floor ,very spacious,clean and bright..No complaint whatever apart from heavy safe placed loosely on floor under desk top.Food in restaurant was very good especially breakfast choices,and staff only too pleased to deal with a couple of awkward requests on our part. Especially Daisy,Dan and all staff we spoke with.

Room was a good size. General property was in a good state, pu lic areas clean, fresh and pleasant. Within 20 minutes walk of the cathedral and majority of restaurants/pubs. Spa / pool was underwhelming.
