We absolutely loved this tiny home, super clean, adorable great view, fire pit, the location was great there is a resturant walking distance you can also watch the tubers come in on the river . We relaxed listened to the river a lot and went to the city oneday and rented bicycles and did the swamp rabbit trail . The hosts are super nice and responsive . Definitely will go back
Tiny home on the River! Comfy bed and great water pressure in shower. We love how close this home is to Greenville,SC. The outdoor center that this place is located on did not have live music or events happening while we were here. We could definitely see how this is a great summer spot with access to tubing/river access. We would definitely come back to this. Our dogs loved It.
Only setback is you are so close to the other homes that if youâre wanting privacy youâre having to share common outside area with your neighbors.
Great property! Very comfortable and nice finishes throughout. Really close to downtown Greenville, but feels like youâre far away. Perfect for a quick get-away alone or with another adult; however, it would tight if more than two. It would be nice if the sofa was a pull out. Thanks for a great stay!
The home is exactly as described. Very cute. It was very quiet. I could see it being a little more rowdy in the summer due to the location right by the river and the other accommodations near by. The hosts were super responsive to our questions and concerns. They made fantastic restaurant recommendations. The home is simple with not a lot of bells and whistles, but just what we needed to unplug for the weekend. Thank you for sharing your spot.
The property is just as presented- unique, charming, and conveniently located. We thoroughly enjoyed the tiny house, the river and Greenville! We hope to return.
Nate & Jessica (N&J) posted pictures of this "New boutique" there is nothing new about this place. Hole in bedroom wall. scuff marks on walls thru out. The pictures posted were this cute place on the river, with a private deck and campfire area. Only place that shows in pics is place to left, no one on right. However, when you first pull in your heart sinks knowing you were scammed into believing this is a cute, not crowded, place . Not true there are 14 places, a crashed bus rental, a bathhouse, a tubing rental business and a bar/restaurant. the cabin on left is about 15-20 ft but the one on right is 6ft.There is no private fire pit they are all lined up in a row placed by each cabin. No privacy at all.
They falsified how the place really is to get you to stay then your stuck. Others don't keep their pets on leash, the dog walk area is unsafe, boards with nails and trash, People come thru looking around all the time, you don't feel safe and you surely are not get quiet calm retreat. N&J do not give whole picture of what your walking into and getting. They lied about everything. Be glad to show pictures.
The property is fabulous. It's located just west of Greenville (a beautiful city) on the banks of the Saluda river. It is a privately-owned tiny home in a group of other homes in the Saluda Outdoor River Co (closed for the season). The ambience is perfect - string lights draped between trees, fire pits, outdoor seating areas and of course the view is fabulous. The home has everything you need - plus wine! Lots of thoughtful touches.
Came from Asheville after having no water for almost three weeks. Comfy, cosy, relaxing. Our little 8lb Duke came with us. I would fire Siri she would not make up bed. Will for sure be back.
My wife and I wanted a quiet few nights away to celebrate our 15 year anniversary & this ended up being exactly what we were looking for. The location is great - it was fun to watch the river tubers come through, and while it is a busy little area with many tiny homes, it was quiet and felt secluded. We enjoyed having a bonfire and overlooking the river. Itâs also located about 5 miles from downtown Greenville, which made it extremely close to good food and activities. We enjoyed river tubing while there & it was great to just take the bus up to the main building so we didnât have to get back to our car after exiting (the exit is right at the house). Finally, this is located about 2.5 miles from a really good coffee house and art district.
Cleanliness was pretty good - we only gave 4 rather than 5 stars due to some leftover dog hair on the couch & in the corners of the rooms (we didnât bring a dog with us). Overall, 5 star stay and we look forward to coming back again!
My husband and I spent a wonderful week at The River House. The tiny home was everything we were looking for. Being so close to the Saluda River is so beautiful and peaceful. It was also so convenient as it is the end point for tubing, which I definitely recommend. We had some very good dinners at Rustic Farms Pizza in Greenville and Tipsy Taco and The Silos in Easley. It is so nice to stay in a pet friendly home - our golden enjoyed her stay too. We look forward to coming back.
My husband and I really enjoyed our tiny stay with our 2 pups. The place was clean and had what we needed, and was as depicted in photos. We definitely took advantage of mornings and evenings on the porch with the river views. We wished the adjacent brewery was open, as that would have been a lovely addition! Although we did visit some of their recommended places and restaurants & thoroughly enjoyed them. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and kindly allowed for an earlier check in. Next time we will definitely take advantage of the river and hopefully float with our pups. (it just wasnât season quite yet!) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to make it back!
