The views from the front porch are amazing! Unfortunately the furniture throughout the house is old and uncomfortable. Cleanliness was not good, dirty dishes in cabinet, mouse droppings in kitchen and bedrooms, kitchen counter sticky upon arrive. Listed Information on how to connect to Wi-Fi was incorrect.

Wedding Week

The house is very spacious with room to have some personal space. It's a quiet area with a good view of the Ocean. We rented it probably the first week of the season. Thus there was a few maintenance issues that were quickly addressed. It's a great walkable community with the playset tennis courts, pickleball courts and the Ocean Point Inn for meals

great location and could be better maintained

Safety: base of grill container rusted out and ?how long it will hold the LP container. Cleanliness and low maintenance: Frig clean; several windows very dirty, fans brown with dirt, overall poorly cleaned and maintained. wood rot in most of windows and exterior, especially old part of house. wd40 needed to open windows. Plumbing: air in pipes causes erratic water; shower water temp changeable, up shower and down bath sink don't drain. Upstairs plugs so old plugs fall out. For this rental $, buy a router extender for the porch and house, for all rooms outside the living room; it's an inexpensive fix. Wi-Fi guy great. No instructions for 5 tv remotes/wrong instructions on location for recycling. Seems like owner doesn't care about upkeep. Location fabulous!

Tired ...

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the charm of Ocean Point. The house has the same basic charm, only it needs some serious maintenance and upgrades. The wi-fi was sketchy, the house needs exterior paint/care, there was some mold in the bathrooms (ceiling downstairs shower and upstairs bath/shower area), and the house had more of a tired than quaint feel to it.

WORST RENTAL I’VE EVER HAD

We walk in and all you smell is dead rat. We thought ok maybe it’s an old house. Boy were we wrong, later that day we went to go use utensils, THERE WAS RAT POOP AND TRAPS EVERYWHERE. The bathrooms, especially the showers, were disgusting, the curtains looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months and there was hair all over the tub! I was in the kitchen when I saw a MOUSE go by!! The rugs look like they had never been cleaned, the bed sheets had hair all over them! When trying to communicate with the company in charge of this house regarding trash day they gave us the wrong information, thankfully a local told me the correct answer. I DO NOT recommend this place, you would think with COVID they would be cleaning better but unfortunately that was not the case. I have pictures of all this to show how disgusting it was, if I was allowed to post pictures I would.

This property is exactly as it looks on the web -- clean, spacious, well-equipped, and perfectly situated to the coast. We had a wonderful time over the 4th of July and would recommend it to others with small kids looking for a nice place to escape.

Power Outage

Property looked great but due to the storm we didn't have any power. And had to find a hotel with the storm it was hard to find a hotel with openings so we had to drive over an hour to find an open hotel. the second day we finally got a call from the property manager saying that we could stay at another place close by that had power. I feel that we should be refunded for the first night due to the fact that we had to pay to stay at another place.

Amazing

Although we fought off the nightly raccoon and skunk to keep the trash in the can, we loved this cozy, perfectly located home! Neighbors were friendly and helpful, and the Sunsets, kayaking, and walks/runs were amazing! Just note, if your older kids are tall, the two twins are a little short! And we definitely think a fire pit would be a great addition! Thank you for sharing!!!

Beautiful location, good neighborhood, charming house

We really appreciated the view, the amenities and size of the home. We had two families there and this house is laid out well for that. It's clear the owners are in a constant state of updating it, but for us it was just enough charm and was completely up to par for what we needed. We had kids so it felt good to be in a home that was ready for basically any type of guest! Thanks for a great stay.

Fully stocked cottage with updated features. Understanding and responsive owners promptly answered the few questions we had concerning the stay. Only downside was that it rained and was foggy on several days...guess we can forgive them that (G)!

Perfect vacation cottage!!!

Wonderful property, beautiful ocean views. Large but cozy cottage and well stocked with kitchen items. There were 9 of us and the cottage fit us all nicely. Great large dining room table which we could seat 12 people. We look forward to going back next year. Very well situated near the casino and the ocean. Spent hours looking for sea glass. A perfect cottage on gorgeous Ocean Point.
