I stayed here years ago when it was a different brand but Covid and a bad elevator apparently doomed it. The emphasis here now is on medical treatment but found it to perfect for use as a one night stay; will use again!

Other than the hotel was basically empty, the room was nice and quiet. Parking was easy with a hundred empty spaces. TV was like 32" with bad picture. No food in the morning, so we went to The Julien motel for a $14.00 omelet and underdone potatoes. If you want a clean quiet place to stay for $99.00 book at Tesla Medbed.

The room was ok about average for an older looking hotel didnt smell bad or anything. The bed was the issue me and the wife booked 2 nights for our friends wedding. I slept about 3 hrs had to wake up about every 3 hrs to walk arround to get my back to stop hurting. I think the floor would have been softer! Bathroom is verry small. We only stayed one of the 2 nights due to the bed being so bad.

Room was clean but had alot of lady bugs and horse flies in it. The heat took forever to come on. There is nothing for breakfast and no pool like advertised. No vending machines of any kind. All you get is the room for the money. No amenities of any kind.

Several issues (none of which were taken care of) 1) no audio on several TV stations making it impossible to watch Sunday football 2) no hot water in bathroom sink 3) no coffee available in early morning and if there was coffee, it was horrible with limited condiments 4) scary environment with no one available after 11p on Sat-literally we were the only people in the building!

The lobby was very nice and updated. The hallways were dated but very clean. The staff were so helpful from check in to check out. The room was nice and liked the semi private balcony.

It was a quiet hotel in a seemingly safe area. I was pleasantly surprised. Only complaint would be that the fans in the bathrooms are present but do not actually appear to work and the bathroom got stuffy when taking a shower. Over all good stay, though and would stay there again.

The location is off the beaten path and the hotel is an older hotel...however it has recently been updated so it was very clean with new beds, fresh paint and upgraded bathrooms. We upgraded to the biophoton room, Had a great sleep and felt very rested when we left. I would definitely stay here again. Only 13 miles from Galena and great shopping in Dubuque. My only comment, which is not negative but a warning, the hours are 9 am to 4 pm for the front desk. They sent a text asking what time I planned to check in so I knew of the shorten hours. No coffee in the lobby for early risers though as the front door was locked. Check it out though. We enjoyed it!

Was really hot when we entered the room, but after turning on the air, it was fine. Beds were VERY hard, so if you like that, you will love this place. Kind of a small feeling room, but for the price, overall it was good.
