First of all there was a problem with the room the first night as it was too cold and we got a heater to warm it up. This obviously wasn't ideal but we very much appreciated that we got our room upgraded to a double executive by the Reception in order to make sure that we had a great stay. The room was great and we also got 2 extra free access to the spa and pool! The personnel of the hotel was very professional and careful to our requests. Overall a great experience. Thank you!

What a great place to stay. We stayed for two nights as my son had eye surgery at a local hospital. The family room was perfect and had everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond especially when we brought my son back after surgery. They brought extra pillows and blankets for him and let us bring breakfast up to our room in the morning as any sort of daylight was extremely painful for my son’s eyes. The breakfast was delicious and catered for all needs. Thank you so much for making our stay run smoothly during what was a stressful time for us and our son.

We really enjoyed our brief stay at Elite Venue. The staff were friendly and helpful, every part of the process was very smooth. The highlights were how comfortable the bed was, the spa area and the blackout curtains which were perfect after seeing the new year in all night!

The staff did a great job and made our stay comfortable. The pool area was clean and enjoyable. We enjoyed the food and the ability walk to a pub nearby for variety.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Checkin was very quick. Upon realising we booked a smaller room by mistake, we were upgraded to a more spacious room without charge. Overnight parking is free for guests. The room was spacious and clean and was serviced daily with clean towels. The temperature was good and complimentary robes were offered to us. The hot water didn’t work in our room on the penultimate day. They offered to change room for us but we declined. Instead, we accepted the offer for us to shower in another room until they had fixed the problem. The Bar and restaurant had a nice chilled atmosphere, although the bar opening time was a little later in the day so it wasn’t possible to order a coffee in the morning but coffee is served in the restaurant with breakfast. The sauna/spa was great too, a perfect way to end a long day sightseeing but can be busy. The gym is small but complete. The location is excellent as it is only a 10 minute taxi drive from the centre which is very pretty and where you can find many restaurants for meals. Sainsbury’s is just next to the station which is also 10 mins drive from the hotel. If you don’t have a car there is a local supermarket just down the road. The airport is just 20mins away in the taxi. All in all, a fantastic 5 day stay with nice staff. I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Been many time before, seems they changed there policy for the Christmas period that kids can use the facilities all day so my relaxing spa break had children running around screaming and splashing in the pool. Not the relaxing break I was hoping for, Then our room right near reception was very noisy with children too.

We appreciated the room upgrade and found it spacious with a comfortable Superking bed and good amenities, including a fridge and a large TV and excellent adjustable heating. What let it down was the bathroom. That had no heating at all! Needed at least a heated towel rail. There was a narrow high sided bath with the shower over which wasn't comfortable to use. We didn’t have breakfast or use the bar and restaurant in the evening so cannot comment on those, or indeed the Spa. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and kept the room and public areas to a high standard. Not the hotels fault but found it was pointless trying to sleep much before midnight due to people in the corridor coming back to their rooms who clearly didn’t see the need to keep the noise down.
