Our stay was disappointing due to multiple issues with the property and poor communication. We were monitored the entire time, and the host messaged us saying their sound sensors detected loud music. Shortly after, they offered an extra night at a “discounted” rate, yet when I had actual questions, they did not respond.Early check-in was denied due to “cleaning,” but the dining room lamps were dusty and the outdoor play area was unkept with dead leaves. My request for washcloths went unanswered. The WiFi didn’t work, and several calls to the host were ignored. The pool heater also didn’t function, creating constant back-and-forth that took away from the experience.The patio string lights shut off automatically at 10 p.m. While I respect quiet hours, we were simply talking by the fire pit and needed light to walk back safely. I reported it, and the host said it wouldn’t happen again, yet it still happened the second night. It made it hard to fully relax during this family trip.The gated community added more inconvenience. The address leads to a back gate with no signal, requiring unreachable host contact or posted instructions. At the front gate, guests wait in a long line despite having already submitted all information. This complicates things for anyone arriving separately or needing to go outside the gated community.Overall, the experience did not match the 1,500 price.
