July 4 Family Time
Management/Owner stints on the most trivial things to make the stay at this house not enjoyable.NO DISHWASHER after we paid 3600 including taxes etc. Was glad to find a sink with running hot and cold water. I was told the ad didnât include dishwasher, but it did not include running water either!1. No coffee filters provided, they donât even cost a penny each. Leave 4 filters for each day rented. It wonât bankrupt you.2. Leave 4 garbage bags for each night rented. The cost is minimal. Only 4 provided for a 3 night rental.3. No kitchen towels provided - zero.3. Provide a minimum of two bath towels, a hand towel and wash cloth per guest when multiple nights are rented.4. Stingy with toilet paper. 5. No closets in bedrooms, some seemed to be purposely locked up. Not even a set of hooks to hang clothes or hangers. We had to dump everything on the floor . Rooms were poorly furnished. Someone had previously complained about the pillows, the ones we used were really bad, no stuffing and were just like rag dolls.6. Barbecue grill did not work. My nephew who is a whiz at fixing anything, went to some store on July 4 and bought a new hose with fittings to make the grill fire up. We took the hose for which we paid 30 and reconnected the hose that was there.7. The sink faucet in the basement bathroom leaked and made puddles on the floor no matter how little we opened it. It kept dripping when closed.8. The basement needs a dehumidifier. It is just short of becoming moldy.
