Room ok
Could hear noise from town or close by road most if night
I was staying to do parkrun in Bryn Bach (1 hour walk each way)
Check out at 10 not ideal so left my bag then picked it up at 1045 but staff were brilliant they let me have a quick shower
Room: clean, tidy, and comfortable
Staff: friendly and helpful
Food: didn't partake but breakfast smelled lovely and it was s popular with the e locals
Around and about noisy till the wee small hours
Car parking: absolutely appalling very limited spaces and parking on road was poor.
The staff at this hotel was friendly and very helpful and polite especially Tristan who went out of his way to get me out of trouble as I turned up a day early
The outside of the building looks very shabby and needs cleaning up and weeding
The hotel itself would be ideal for contractors
The walls between rooms are stud partitions and you can hear what next room is talking about
the breakfast is plentiful and delicious would recommend
and Susan such a happy soul and very obliging nothing is any trouble well done staff
Very nice staff but the hotel is of extreeme poor standards. The rooms were sort of clean but carpets were very dirty. We had 2 rooms, 1 of standard room-size and 1 smaller than a closet. Breakfast options were small and we got offered just coffee or juice. Not both so we hade to decide. Everything about this hotel itself, the surroundings, the breakfast etc was so bad that se decided to leave the hotel after just 1 night allthough we had prepaid for 2 nights. Only positive to say about this hotel is the kind staff, but my recommendation is to avoid this hotel. I canât believe how this hotel has the approval to be in the Best Western hotelgroup.
Room was small bathroom spelt like sewage. TV didnt work. The noise aswell was just ridiculous awake from 5.30am. Shame as we have stayed before and it was great.
Fantastic comfy bed and quiet, but needs attention
We were in Cardiff for the under 17's basketball tournament to watch my god son from Ireland play. We didn't arrive to the hotel until 11pm. This caused issues as the postcode provided did not take us to the hotel. I ended up asking a local from a local takeaway if they knew where the hotel was. They not only helped but they got into their car and asked me to follow him. He took me straight to the hotel and checked i was OK. There was no parking onsite available as all spaces were taken, but there is a large carpark a short walk away. The night staff was fantastic as helped all she could. Breakfast was fantastic and we were dealt with quickly by the two members of staff on shift. I only made one criticism about the room as it had a shower over the bath but no rubber bath mat and i nearly slipped over in the shower. The only other issues i saw is the hotel is clearly either on its way to being renovated or is in very much largely decayed as there was packages and pallets outside and inside. Not blocking any walkways, but was not nice to see being layed around.
The staff were lovely and friendly. What let the whole thing down was that the dining room didn't have any food and our room stank of drains and dirty water. It was so bad we went home a day early as it was making me sick
