Horrible! Probably scam!

I book different cities, beautiful homes with lovely experiences with VRBO. I should have noticed there were no reviews. I booked for NY eve for my small family gathering with my grandchildren explaining we would be baking cookies and playing games. My full amount was accepted and I was provided an address and security code. On the day of, I checked my messages and was told that my reservations was cancelled because they weren't doing private parties and my refund would come within 15 days. No one responded to any messages or calls from myself or to the very kind VRBO representative. It was The VRBO rep who refunded my money right away. Someone told me people list during the holidays as a scam. Just awful.
Stayed 1 night in Dec 2022
