Terrific location for tourists. Access to all of the stores, restaurants, pubs (and castle!) we could want. Hotel had the needed amenities, helpful staff, and decent-sized rooms. No complaints.

Amazing location, definitely recommend as you are steps from the castle and most tourist attractions. The hotel was great, room was clean and modern and the bathroom was very nice. I would stay here again.

We have also stayed at the sister hotel which is just a couple of doors down, which can be confusing. This hotel met our expectations. Even with the Fringe Festival going on, our room was very quiet, yet we had a great view of the castle. We would definitely stay here again. Fantastic hotel.

he Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel is in a fantastic location — right in the heart of the city. It’s perfect for visiting the Castle, wandering down Victoria Street, or exploring anywhere else you want to go. Despite being so central, it’s surprisingly quiet, which made for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the overall experience was excellent. Loved staying here and would definitely return!
