I had a pleasant stay at The Scholar. The staff were all very welcome, especially the gentleman at the bar. The room was great for what I needed. The only comment I have is that the pillows were quite thick - I usually only sleep with one but even that one was too thick for me and I woke up with neck and shoulder pain. It's a small detail as I know everyone will have their preferences but I felt that if the pillows were thinner, those who prefer more cushioning could have just used more pillows. Other than that, my stay was lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at The Scott. They really pay attention to detail, the staff are all lovely and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety to choose from including delicious pastries. It's in a nice quiet area but close enough to the city centre. The decor and design of the hotel is so charming which enhanced the magical feel of Edinburgh. My only regret is not staying longer!

Fantastic hotel with very attentive staff. We had to use the hotel next door as the bar and dining room were being renovated and this worked seamlessly. We had a wonderful stay.

The staff was welcoming and incredibly helpful. We arrived well before check in and the staff locked our bags safely in a back room while we explored Edinburgh. The room was perfect for three people and exceptionally clean. We couldn’t have had a better stay!
