I honestly love this place, cut through the train station, across the road and 2 min walk, perfect. The staff are always there for whatever you need. The breakfast might not be a hot one, but definitely worth the price, and the cartoons are hilarious - Iâm a big kid at heart.
I know hostels arenât for everyone, but if yaâs are in a group, itâs a lot easier⊠Bar across the road serves breakfast and has awesome prices with the wee deal card. Apart from one other place Iâve found, this would be my choice!
I saw someone cleaning the toilets and showers every day which was nice to know was being done. Bottom bunk curtains only cover about half of the actual bunk, so they don't offer as much privacy as the middle and top bunks. Just something to be aware of. Bring your own lock for the lockers if you don't want to have to buy one from the front desk.
While excellent location and friendly staff, bathrooms were smelly, toilets often didnât flesh, no garbages in them for women, no simple hook on the wall for belongings. No kitchen, only a mini fridge to accommodate the masses. The reception area was cute but that was about it. Expected a bit more for the price
The toilets barely worked. Itâs a cheap option for a night or two but wouldnât want to stay any longer. Just a place to rest your head at night, despite the bed being too hard for my taste. I spent most of my time sightseeing so I only needed the room late at night and early morning. Wish there was a better, private area to change
