First off the staff were amazing & helpful!. The first room was a nice size but overall run down. The bed was comfortable. The neighbours were loud & staff were great finding me a more quiet room. The bed in the second room however, was worn out, soft in some areas. The dumpster was just off my window, so at 11 pm or so it was dumped. On my second night. The location was great if you wanted to go anywhere in Edmonton, unfortunately the hotel has has had better days. It would be a great deal for $75.00 a night or less. But again the staff were excellent!

The best thing about the Argyll Plaza Hotel is the staff. They are courteous and very friendly. The rooms are very clean although quite dated. I think they do the best they can with what they have.

Pet friendly. Pet excriments in parking lot. King bed room. Carpet coming up, hatch in shower half open, jacuzzi tub out of service, ac/ window units is super loud and the chairs seat covers where pealing away. I booked weeks in advance and some how the guy i went with booked a room the same day and payed less.... would strongly not recomend.

Bathroom fixtures were falling out of the wall and could rotate 360° with no labeling causing a scalding hazard. Room had broken windows and the carpets smelled like pee. Daytime staff were unhelpful but the night staff was great. Right next to a nightclub so all night you get to listen to people partying and throwing up in their rooms. Building was overall rundown and dirty.
