When I stay in Edmonton, my favorite place to stay is the Chateau Lacombe. I have had the pleasure of being checked in by David on nearly every stay, and its always nice to see a familiar face, he is a great representative of the hotel. The security staff are professional amd polite. The foos is great. I like the plsce!

The property is dated. Nice location friendly staff, probably cool 30 years ago. I found it funny that I had to sign a great deal of conditions, one being if they smelled smoke in the room it was a $500 charge. Yet the second I walked in, the room smelled like 30 years of smoking had taken place in it.

Advertised pricing is lower in comparison to other hotels in the area, but they charge you for parking, charged us extra to check-in an hour early. Rooms are clean, but nothing extraordinary. Location was very convenient, but would stay elsewhere next time.

Staff was amazing. Check in was quick and very friendly. we had access to the business level and the snacks and beverages were a nice touch but again, the staff working were incredible and took great care of us. The housekeeping staff we spoke to were so friendly. It’s evident that the hotel hires for great personalities! Would have been 5 star but the property is getting tired in some spots and could use upgrades.
