Excellent stay

My teenage daughter and I stayed here for two nights while we were in St. Albert for a competition. The suite was cute, lovely, very clean and comfortable. The unit was exactly as described. My daughter loved the modern feel and thought the bed was extremely comfortable. We did not cook or use the kitchen but it seemed well equipped. There was ample grocery, food and restaurants very close and conveniently located to the unit. Another reviewer commented on smell. The unit was fresh and clean no unpleasant smells whatsoever. We would highly recommend this unit.

Exceptional Experience

I stayed at this property while my house was undergoing renovations. I am so happy that I stayed here. It truly felt like a home away from home. Beautiful suite, great neighborhood, lots of parking. Would highly recommend!

The place was smaller than expected (looked bigger in the photos). Upon arrival there was a strong odor of food/cooking smell. It didn’t appear the living space was cleaned very well as you could see finger prints on the glass table and stainless steel appliances. There were no cleaning supplies available. When asked, the host said there were supplies under the kitchen sink but there was only dish soap and toilet paper. There was no cable TV (only Netflix). The WIFI was slow. My husband and I decided not to stay. We expressed our concerns to the host and asked if there was any chance for a partial refund. The host said they would take the loss and refund us once they were paid from VRBO in 2-3 weeks. It’s been a month now and no response from the host. I would not recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort.

VRBO Basement Suite St Alberts

We attended the John Reid Memorial Tournament at Servus Credit Union Place, a 15 minute drive, in support of our grandson (team won Bronze), won Gold in December 2024 in Devon Alberta at the Canadian Crown Classic U15 Elite : Canada vs USA. Chidiebere is an excellent host, although we did not do any cooking, the unit was left in same condition when we arrived: pristine,clean and orderly. Thank you Chidiebere for being a great hostess. Will be going on our annual Hawaii trip, much warmer than -31C feels like -34C.
