Everything was fine upon check-in. Our first night went smoothly. Then it went to garbage. 10:30am a fire alarm in the building went off, no guidance, no instructions, and no information as to what the issue was. We stood outside for about an hour and we're let back into the hotel, again without any information or communication from the staff.
We went out for the rest of the day and came back late in the evening, got ready for bed, and then another fire alarm at 2:30am. Not only was the fire alarm blaring, but there was no electricity in our room, so no lights to get dressed and evacuate, and no emergency lights to be seen. An entire hotel full of guests standing outside with no communication or information and staff looking completely confused by the entire situation. Finally after about an hour we were informed there was a "serious electrical issue" and we couldn't go back in until it was sorted. 45 minutes later the fire department informed us we could go back in.
Upon waking up there was still no electricity to our room, so getting dressed and packed in the dark was the name of the game as our room was on the inner circle with no windows. When we went to check out there was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience and I was simply told if I had a complaint it would need to be directed to Expedia as there was nothing they could do for me.
Overall, this hotel has some serious issues to sort out. I wouldn't recommend staying here until things get significantly better.
