The Roma Motel is conveniently situated right off the highway, which was ideal for a quick overnight stop. It was a cozy stay and while we didn't have time to dine at the adjacent restaurant, it looked great. My only critique is that the room was a little dated, which didn't bother us but is worth noting. I loved the comfortable vibes here. Checking in and out was simple, and the owner was super friendly and easy to talk to. I would stay here again or recommend it to a friend!

I really enjoyed staying here this is my second time here. The Restaurant serves really great food .The staff are nice the place is clean . My only complaint was the pillows on the bed are flat as pancakes and lumpy.

Room was clean but this is an old motel, very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Dirty old comforter on the bed. Worn floors, moldy tiles, very worn sofa. Would never stay here again! Not sure why people rated it a 4 out of 5 stars! Really a two at best!!!

Needs to be updated dirt on all doors, shower old and lots of black in tiles. Face cloth and towels had dirt stains. The main ceiling fan light flickered off and on then wouldn’t work. Strong air freshener type smell caused stuffiness. Restaurant didn’t open until 10:30 so not able to get breakfast. Check in was easy and friendly staff. Could hear the tv next door through the night.

The staff member we dealt with was great. However, the rooms (we had two stays there, on our way to and from Ottawa) could have been much cleaner. There was dust under the TV, etc. and the floors were filthy, in both rooms in which we stayed - #1 and #12. In the latter room, the bathtub faucet and spout were all water stained, so we did not even shower. We got up in the morning and put our clothes on and left. We will not be staying there on any future travels. The bathroom floor tile in #12 were all broken and had some odd pieces filling in. The workmanship was terrible. Caulking looked like a child had done it with gobby icing. The rooms really need fussing up if they want to have their business survive. It’s unfortunate. Donna

This was a perfect spot while we were traveling and celebrated our 43rd Wedding Anniversary their . the staff gave us a basket of goodies to help celebrate and it was very nice of them. We were traveling with our Pocket Beagle and the hotel was very Pet Friendly.

I have only good things to say about La Roma and its owners. Friendly, cheerful, helpful Owner & Wife. Room was clean clean clean. Yes, the motel is old, but its charming. There's an outdoor pool, access to a river with picnic tables on the lawn. Chairs outside the room allow for relaxing before dark. The bed was comfortable and the night was quiet. There's an attached restaurant with delicious Indian food. We enjoyed curry shrimp. This place is not luxurious but its extremely comfortable and very economical. Would not hesitate to stay here again on our way through .

Friendly, clean, and good stop for weary travelers

Was very clean and easy to find. Owner has done a good job refurbishing an older motel. He was very nice to talk with. Price was very reasonable. Would definately stay again if going this way.
