Bei unserer Ankunft um 17 Uhr war unser Zimmer aus unerfindlichen Gründen nicht bereit - obwohl offiziell Check-in ab 15 Uhr möglich ist. Das Personal tuschelte vor sich hin und gab uns keine richtige Erklärung, wo denn das Problem sei. Wir wurden gebeten, 5 bis 10 Minuten zu warten. Daraus wurden dann allerdings mehr als 15 Minuten - ohne irgendeinen Zwischenbescheid. Auf unsere Beschwerde hin war das Zimmer urplötzlich dann doch bezugsbereit und als Entschädigung bekamen wir ein unentgeltliches Dinner (sehr lecker !). Das Zimmer als solches war ziemlich klein, so dass wir kaum unsere Koffer öffnen konnten. Außerdem gab es im Bad einen unangenehmen Schwefelgeruch.

Die Empfangsdame war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer sauber und gut. Das einzige was ein bisschen gestört hat, war dass das Fenster nicht ganz dicht war (lüftungsschlitze) und es darum immer ein wenig gepfiffen hatte. Konnten aber trotzdem gut schlafen.

Sehr toll ausgestattetes Hotelzimmer

Pros: Hotelzimmer sind schön und mit relativ viel Platz eingerichtet.
Cons: Preise sind relativ hoch
Location: Liegt direkt am Stadteingang. Perfekt für ein Stopp-Over.
Das Hotel liegt sehr gut am Stadteingang gelegen. Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel eingerichtet, mit relativ viel Platz im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels / Guesthouses in Island. Man bezahlt aber auch einen gewissen Preis dafür. Frühstück war lecker.
