The place was clean, well stocked, and convenient to nearby attractions. Secluded location in the middle of nowhere. Heat and A/C worked well as we needed both during our stay. Dual shower heads in the master bathroom were a nice touch. Only complaint is the ceiling fan in the master bedroom has a loud hum. Overall, a great little cabin!
This was a multi-generational family stay. Our getaway was for R&R and also to hold our family biz annual meeting, great place for both! Plenty of room to spread out and not feel crowded. Great proximity to Wichita wildlife refuge for some great hiking! Comfortable, quiet and overall a great place to stay.
Great place to stay and spend time with our soldier. Thank you! We even got to spend the last night loving on the orange kitty. My big kids are kitty lovers!
This house is easy to find, we enjoyed our stay there. In the country, yet close to Ft. Sill. We were there for a grandson's boot camp graduation. Sun rises and sunsets were beautiful there. The front porch was a great place to sit and relax, a breeze was blowing every day.
We were visiting here in oklahoma to watch our son graduate boot camp at Fort Sill. Our host was an absolute delight and such a kind person. We have so many beautiful pictures and memories an were very close to everything and every where we needed to be. This was such a fantastic stay. Thank you again!
We enjoyed how charming and homey this barn house was; and the animals were an extra bonus. But there were a few things that were a little frustrating. One being that there was only one hand towel in the kitchen and bathrooms. We had a house of 6 kids and those towels were pretty dirty after just a few hours. The second thing that was kind of upsetting was that we paid 18 to fill up the propane tank to grill, only to find out that the grill didnât actually work and so we had to cook our hot dogs in a pan. That being said, we still enjoyed our stay and the kids will always remember their stay at the barn house.
We needed a place for family ranging in ages 16-86 while we were in the area for my sonâs graduation from Basic Training at Fort Sill. We couldnât have picked a better place. There was enough room for all of us and we used the kitchen and grill to make multiple meals for our group. I also loved the decor throughout the house. Its not likely that weâll be in the area again but if we are weâd definitely come back.
We felt so at home at this cozy house! My son loved it when he came here for family day! If u have someone graduating from bootcamp or just visiting this oklahoma area I highly recommend this home away from home. 5 stars âïžâïžâïžâïžâïž!
Four adults spent four days here and we were able to bring our soldier âhomeâ on Family Day because the property is within the distance limit imposed by the base. Peaceful and comfy-just what we all needed for a relaxing graduation weekend.
This was by far the best place I could have booked for our family to visit my daughter for her family day and graduation at Ft Sill. Beautiful property and scenery . We all loved it!!
my granddaughter graduated from boot camp at Fort Sill. we celebrated family day at this property with tons of food and outdoor games. we had an awesome day!!!
We loved staying here. Owner was great with communication and answering our questions. The house was lovely and we enjoyed the country setting. It was a nice relaxing place for our soldier on family day
The place was very clean but the vanity in the master bath needs dusting. There's toilet paper dust on every flat surface. There was also a q-tip on the floor under the vanity so that needs dusting, too. The bed was very comfortable, we loved sitting on the patio and chatting for hours. The front door sticks really bad on the bottom. Not sure how that could be fixed but, once we found out it really did open, after that, it was easy.
We rented this house when we came down for our sonâs family day and graduation from basic training. It was the best place that we couldâve found to be able to give him a really quiet and relaxing day. It is on an absolutely beautiful piece of property. Very convenient to Fort Sill. I will add that if you have an allergy to cats do not rent this place, there are several cats that hang out. You can tell this is their home! We made friends with them and they did not bother us at all, but be aware of that if you do have an allergy. Host was very responsive and check in and out was a breeze.
