DISGUSTING

While the room looked clean to the naked eye, it was absolutely unsafe and disgusting. There was black mold above the window and throughout the bathroom. The room smelled horrible, of chemicals. The safety latch to the door was missing screws and our door would move open when the wind blew. Unfortunately, it was very late at night and unless we wanted to sleep in our car, this was where we were stuck. Do not go here!

It was run down, the "free breakfast" was waffles you make yourself. The bar/lounge was not open. There were a few restaurants in the area within walking distance.

The staff was very rude. The receptionist wouldn't even stand up to look at us. We had to look at her around the computer. Our keys quit working before 11am, which was check out time the day we checked out. The building needs some work inside and outside. The yard needs some maintenance too.

I was very uncomfortable. Too many sketchy people lurking around. Comforter had cigarette burns and what appeared to be blood stains. Door bolts needed changing and deadbolts missing. You could see outside through the door post which didn’t make me feel safe. There is need for some renovations as the lights also at the face basin/washbasin were not functioning. The second room they sent me was very musty and had mold.

Room clean. However, the top bed covered had holes in it which looked like burn holes. The handicapped handle in the shower was unattached on one end. The website says full breakfast. Maybe it is in season, but it was practically Continental.

It should be illegal to charge a person to stay in such horrid conditions. The door had clearly been kicked in; no maintenance had been done on any part of the aging and decrepit room. The air smelled of wet mold and I believe a person may have died and expelled in the desk chair. I took pictures of everything. None of the reviews showed how bad this place really is.

FIRST OF ALL OUR FIRST TWO NIGHTS WE HAD NO RUNNING HOT WATER. THE TV WAS VERY DIM.WE COULD NOT CHANGE THE BRIGHTNESS AT ALL. WE HAD. BLANKETS THAT HAD CIGARETTE BURNS ON THEM. PILLOWS WERE FLAT, THEY ONLY GAVE THREE WHEN THERE WAS ONLY TWO OF US. REFRIGERATOR WAS FILTHY AND NOT IN GOOD CONDITION.
