My friends and I (6 adults and 1 infant) stayed here for a 30th birthday trip and it was amazing! All of the rooms were absolutely beautiful, it was incredibly clean, the view was phenomenal and any issues that arose, David was just great. While we were there, a tornado was moving through the area and unfortunately the power dropped out, David provided immediate response about the generator and (once it was safe to travel of course) had someone come out and ensure we were able to get the power back on. Also, the house was very well stocked including a few additional items for "in case you forgot" purposes which really added a nice touch. I truly enjoyed the experience here, and have no complaints about this beautiful wonderful property! I would absolutely stay again! For anyone looking to stay here just things to keep in mind:
- The house is 2 miles off of the main road, and getting there is on a dirt/gravel road with a 15 mph speed limit due to the nature of the turns/bumps. David informed us of this well in advance and suggested an SUV for the drive, and please do heed that warning. My boyfriend was able to make the drive in a Toyota Camry, however, being in an SUV was significantly more comfortable.
- The house is in a rural area so the wifi signal is not super strong, which was perfectly fine for our purposes of relaxing, however, if you did need it for work purposes, just be sure you have a hot spot back up just in case.
-The loft room is just above the main living area, so if you are a light sleeper, I would suggest choosing one of the other rooms.
I truly have no complaints about this amazing property! And I hope you all enjoy your stay as much as we did! :)
