I told Debbie about our group of older ladies ( 75 to 84. I also shared that one had a stroke and couldn’t walk without help. There was no ramp for a walker or grab bars in showers or by the toilets. The toilets were the low ones which made it hard to use for someThree of the ladies could not shower the whole time we were there because of fear of falling with nothing to hang onto.Had we known any of this we could have changed cabins because we rented it early spring.In spite of all this, we made due and did have a good time since it will probably be last time, because of our age. The cabin is clean and private. We had a great time enjoyed all of the amenities. The only challenge was the driveway which has been mentioned in previous reviews. It’s not something I would want to navigate in the winter months. It wasn’t an issue at all once we got used to it. But it is very steep and does have a sharp hairpin turn in it.

Great place for views of the mountains.

This was a fantastic place with great views and plenty of room for our family. We came up with a group from Florida to ride the mountains. They stayed at another property. We had pizza night, and everyone said they would book this property next time. We even had a visit by Smokey the Bear; he wandered the property and just kept going on. I'm going to book it again for our fall bike trip.

The view from the deck is great! The deck time and the hot tub were the highlights of the trip. It was a pleasure to deal with staff, very nice and timely guidance on how to find the property and always very quick in responding to text messages! We felt welcomed and had a great stay! Amazing view

The view and back porch were awesome. But the place needs updating. The pictures on the site for the couch and kitchen table are not correct. The appliances need upgrading.. The mattresses are so hard. They hurt your back after the first night. The coffee table in the living room is very unstable and old. The Jacuzzi was very nice but the head pads need replacing because of mold stains. The fire pit was amazing. The shower heads need to be clean because they have hard water stains in them and the water doesn’t come out evenly and it sprays in different directions. But The Place was very clean. Still had a great time but lack of good sleep made it difficult. Love the layout of the place..

Beautiful Home and View

We had a really nice time over the Christmas holiday. The location is great, the property is lovely, and the hot tub worked :) The driveway is VERY steep with a hairpin turn towards the top, that I would not want to try to navigate in the rain. All in all a wonderful stay.

Amazing mountain views

Overall a great experience and loved the views! It was a bit scary getting up this extremely steep driveway with with almost a 90 degree turn half way up. Be careful! There weren’t a whole lot of extra supplies such as trash bags, paper towels etc especially for family of seven so be prepared to bring your own. Definately would recommend.

Nice Home with Beautiful views. Caution should be given to the Driveway.

We spent 3 nights in May for my son's wedding in Ellijay. The home had Beautiful views and plenty of room. The TV on the main floor living room did not work. After inquiring the agent returned my message the next day andsaid the owner had ordered new one but it had not been replaced yet. The main bedroom TV also did not have a connection unless you entered your own Amazon account info. (I was not comfortable doing that.) Agent said clause in the agreement precluded any concessions. The main floor and patio had dog treats that had not been cleaned up prior to our arrival. I had to be very vigilant as our small dog has allergies and I worried what he would find them. The laundry room on the main floor had an odor of some sort that we chose not to hang our clothes in the main closet while staying there. The hot tub cover looks like it may have had a bear encounter that was semi repaired with duct tape but it had fallen off and exposed the styro foam. The owner may need to reevaluate the cleaning crew for future The driveway is very steep and narrow with a dog leg turn. I feel like this should be mentioned in the listing as not everyone is comfortable with that excursion and if it is raining or snowing a smaller vehicle could have trouble. Again I reiterate the home is Beautiful and the views are Beautiful. I understand the need for a steep access come with mountain views. Just maybe let that me know on the listing. This would not be a fall/winter rental that I would revisit.

Great weekend getaway!

The house had everything we needed and the views were spectacular. We had a group of 7 ladies and we had a blast! The fire pit and hot tub are a plus and were used daily. Plenty of room for a group of friends or even a couple of families. Close to downtown Ellijay and about a 20 minute drive to Blue Ridge. We visited wineries, a brewery, restaurants, shops, etc. Would definitely come back!

Dirty and Disappointing

The location of this property and the view is fabulous but it was very dirty and not just the kind of dirty that one cleaning might have missed. I wish I could upload photos. The baseboards were FILTHY. Clumps of dog hair in various places. We couldn't sit on the balcony because the furniture was dirty. Pot and pans scratched up. Dirt and debris in the silverware drawer. Just disgusting. We were in town for our son's wedding so we didn't call the property manager to complain or ask for anyone to come and clean. We were busy and didn't want the added stress. I waited about 30 days to circle back with the management because who has the time, right? But I had to circle back for two reasons 1. As a rental property owner, I would want to know about the condition of my home and I wanted to give them an opportunity to make things right. 2. I don't want other people spending there money on a property like this if it's not going to be rectified. I messaged management with a number of photos and I was met with chastisement for waiting to let them know and the response that they couldn't do anything because they would have "fixed the problem" while I was there. The issue is - It was supposed to be clean upon arrival. They were not interested in making any sort of amends even though I sent photos of the mess. Please be careful booking this property or any other property owned by Mountain Oasis Cabin Rentals as they own a # of properties in the area.

Family Getaway

The property was easy to find, it felt secluded from everything within easy access to the charming town of Ellijay. Every detail was thought of, from the stocked kitchen, to lighter to light the fire, and a dog bed and bowl for the dog, towels for the hot tub. French press for coffee, the view was the recent we landed on this place and it didn’t disappoint. It was enjoyed from the bedrooms and the main living room. We had different age groups in our family, the teens enjoyed the game room. There was something for everyone! Thank you!

Spacious Property with Beautiful View

A perfect get away for a big family or even 2 families with living areas and kitchens on main level and on terrace level. The open floor plan allows everyone to enjoy this property together and has lots of outdoor seating to take in the amazing mountain view and a new hot tub for relaxation. The huge master bedroom and bathroom were quite unexpected in a rental property but truly enjoyed. The sofa and loveseat are also new and quite comfortable. The only negative about this property is some of the kitchen items could benefit from an upgrade (cookware and flatware) but we are foodies and like to cook and eat together so may not be an issue for others. Definitely not enough of an issue to keep us from returning, which we plan to do.

Great home! The living room furniture needs to be updated but other than that, great place!

Easy check in and out. Wonderful views. The driveway was a bit scary and steep (would have appreciated a heads up) but no big issue. Living room furniture also needs to be updated.
