The property "Haus am Wasser" is located in a residential area in a quiet suburb of Emden. The landlords live in the house. The way to the city (10-15 min.) and the beach at the Knock (10 min.) is in the immediate vicinity.
From the flat you have a great view of our garden, which you are very welcome to use. There is plenty of space for playing, barbecuing, fishing or relaxing (just let your feet dangle in the water) and the lawn invites you to simply relax. If you don't want to sit directly on the lawn, we have garden chairs and a table ready for you, and since we are right on the canal, there is the possibility to bring a boat with you which can be moored directly on site. A slipway for this is only 500 metres away from us.
The flat is located on the top floor, which can be reached via a separate entrance with a staircase, once upstairs you have an idyllic view of the water and are in a beautiful living and dining area with a fitted kitchen, which is equipped with a refrigerator, a kettle, a coffee machine, a toaster, cooking utensils and crockery and cutlery for 6 people. In the dining area there is a table with 4 chairs, the living area is equipped with a flat screen and sofa, adjacent to the living room is the bedroom with a double bed (1.40x2.00) and a single bed (90x2.00), if small children are travelling with you, we will be happy to provide you with a travel cot. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a washbasin, a toilet and a hairdryer, as well as the towels, which are available for you, a washing machine, a small freezer and a dishwasher in the storage room, the house on the water offers you free WLAN access and if you should be too hot in summer, you can use the air conditioning for an extra charge! Non smoking flat !
From the property "Haus am Wasser" the next shopping possibility is 5 minutes away by car, the city centre is also very easy to reach by car in 10-15 minutes, there is a boat rental/bike rental (paddle & pedal station Emden), various museums and the Otto Huss invites you to marvel, during a short break at the Delft with coffee or tea you can listen to the carillon of our beautiful town hall every hour on the hour. The city of Emden also offers you a variety of leisure activities, such as fishing, bowling, canoeing, tennis and sailing, and you can also start beautiful day trips from here to one of our great islands, such as Borkum or Norderney, but Emden itself also has beautiful corners to offer, such as the city forest, which invites you to a wonderful bike ride, and of course there are several restaurants in Emden, many of which also offer a delivery service. For activities outside Emden, the town of Aurich with its climbing forest (approx. 30 minutes away) is a great destination.
