The floors were dirty. Vent for AC in 2nd bedroom was covered up. Need more counter space in bathroom. Would be nice to have a detachable shower head instead of a fixed. Wasn’t aware that it would be multiple renters in one house. Bathroom Vanity drawer broke. Killed 2 Palmetto bugs in the living room. 1 had gotten on my girlfriend. Very upset !

A perfect beach getaway! The home was clean, spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed. Right on the water and close to everything while still feeling like a secluded getaway. We loved everything about it and cannot wait to come back.

I have stayed in many homes in Englewood over the last 35 years. This home is by far the best that we have ever stayed at. Easy check in an check out. Everything was top notch; all you need to bring is your bathing suit and fishing rod. Most beautiful sunsets ever.

Small fishing trip

Property was in pretty good shape. Only thing I would add with some TVs in the bedrooms. It was just me and my grandson and he brought his PlayStation. He was only able to hook it up in the living room.

Beautiful flat and great view!

We enjoyed the stay - Englewood is low key location, yet a short trip to Venice, Siesta Key, Boca Grande and local beaches. Sadly the dock was not available due to Milton last year but local captain took us out on the Gulf and we caught a great dinner. Anna was super responsive to any questions I had. We look forward to a future visit.

Birthday getaway

The overall house was super clean as shown. Disappointed when arriving and seeing the dock was no longer there which picture show it. Neighborhood still looks pretty rough from the hurricane. Quick drive to downtown Venice and other locations which was convenient.

Wonderful Property and Location

The property was as advertised. Great location on Lemon Bay with a view of brilliant sunsets with access to kayaks and bikes. The house was fully stocked and the property manager was easy to contact. Will definitely be returning.

Amazing sunsets!

We had a wonderful time at 20 Steps to the Water! We enjoyed the beachy vibe and layout of this 2 bedroom property but our favorite place was the chairs overlooking the bay and the beautiful sunsets at night. The property was well appointed - it had everything that we needed. We also loved the screened lanai in the evening.

Water view!!!

This a perfect house for relaxing and watching the beautiful sunsets. The kitchen is large and I love how the cabinets were labelled. So much easier to find things that way. The hosts quickly responded to any questions. We are hoping to come stay again!

Anna’s place was perfect!

What a wonderful stay we had at Anna’s place! She was polite and extremely quick to respond to any questions. The place was very well supplied. We didn’t use the hot tub or other water toys, but enjoyed using the bikes! The cleanliness and orderliness of the place was amazing! My wife used to clean for a living and we’ve found many places weren’t up to our standards, but this place was spotless! It wasn’t dirty or have any funky smells, so when we arrived we felt completely comfortable were able to immediately relax. We can’t wait to return next time we’re visiting the west coast of Florida! Thank you so much, Anna!

Fantastic views - meet the manatees on your own landing stage :)

We were staying 5 days in Englewood and enjoyed the apartment. It was fully equipped, very comfortable bed, a great whirl pool (which we used in the evening, when it gets a little colder), new Tony Bahama chairs for the beach. The real luxury of this apartment is the view to the sea, just sit in your chair at the landing stage, enjoy the views. We had the great luck to see dolphins and that one manatee were in front of us (just 1 meter away). Very good communication with the landlord - we fully recommend that location - enjoy it!

This place was amazing, just like the photos, even better!! Ann was quite wonderful in making sure we had all that was needed, in that we did and then some! Fantastic sunsets every night, close to beaches, the Farmers Market on Thursdays is a must. A fabulous memorable stay . Was here for my sister’s wedding, if in the area again would definitely stay again.

The property is as described. Super clean, ice cold AC, very spacious, comfortable bed (we only used one room), fully stocked, and nicely organized with labels to help easily find things. Everything was great, but what took it over the top for us, was Anna! She was absolutely great! We chose this property primarily for the dock. We love to fish, don't have a boat, so we were looking forwarding to having a private dock to fish off of the four days we were there. 2 days before our arrival, the dock was damaged due to Hurricane Idalia. We were a little bumbed, but Anna kept us informed the whole time. Before and after the storm and she was able to have the dock repaired ASAP! She's definitely a doer. She makes things happen! We were able to enjoy the dock as planned 3 out of the 4 days we were there. Anna even offered us some alternative fishing spots for the one day the dock was being repaired, so we still enjoyed fishing that 1 day too. Anna is professional, excellent at communicating, and really cares about her guests and wants them to enjoy the property to its fullest. We highly recommend this property. You won't be sorry!
