If I could give this property a zero I would. Could not use walkway as a big prickly bush was impeding it. Needed a 10 digit code just to get in, then greeted by the 1970's. Think the furnishings were from original owners or bought at goodwill. Have stayed at numerous places and this was the worst. A coating of dirt or dust covered every surface in the kitchen and bathrooms. Screens were torn in both the Lanai and the pool area. Pool was gross with dead geckos in it. Drain in bathroom sink clogged. Notified company of problems and only thing corrected was clogged sink and pool cleaned. Could not enjoy pool or lanai due to bugs from broken screens. Kitchen minimally stock could not really cook any meals due to lack of equipment. (i.e. Baking sheet, 9X13 pans). Only spices avail ere salt and pepper. Open container of pasta in pantry. No storage containers or basic supplies. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
We brought my parents back to their home for the first time in 2 years after the storm. Their home is small, so my husband and I stayed until he had to go back to NYS. My sister stayed two nights, and my nephew stayed a different 2 nights. This was a comfortable place to relax after working all day at my parentsâ house. We swam, cooked, and slept well with everything we needed. It allowed us to spend time with 90 year old parents without being confined by their very limited space.
I think it is a general rule from Vrbo that boat trailers cannot be parked in the driveway because there may be an HOA that does not allow it. I think this rule should be adjusted to the home. The neighborhood this home is located in clearly does not have an HOA that restricts the parking of boat trailer. Neighbors all around had boats and trailers parked in their yards. My stay at this house would have been way more convenient if I didn't have to find parking for my boat trailer elsewhere.
The company was helpful and quick to answer when we had trouble getting in with the door code. The house had everything we needed. I would just say it needs updating but still had what we needed and from pictures we could tell it was a little outdated. The dock was amazing. It was new and perfect for our 19ft boat. Our family had a nice relaxing weekend. I would recommend updating the house that's all. Still met our needs.
The house was clean when we arrived. The washer quit while we were there and had to be replaced. The dryer took forever to dry (had to go to a laundromat the last day we were there) The disposal didnât work until they came later in the week to fix it. The pool isnât heated. The bathtub drain would drain very slow after a shower. We had a nice time in spite of all these issues and we did leave 3 days early. We were told by the maintenance lady that we would get an âinconvenience refundâ but we havenât seen anything yet. The maintenance lady was very responsive to these issues but thatâs a lot to experience in a week. Not sure we would stay there again.
Need updated needs more clarity about pool heat didnât post many screens missing in porch and lanai no light or fan in bedroom dead gecko under beds
No local tv good internet nice beds
Great view
Garbage cans were full on arrival. No where to out garbage but beside the cans. Sink in kitchen leaks and a post on the dock was broken. A good deep cleaning would do the home good. Need more seating in the room with the tv . Pool was great, we enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our long weekend with friends in this home. The pool was great; albeit a bit chilly despite paying for it to be heated. You will love the open floor plan and space. You will need to buy almost all supplies, as not much is in the cupboards. This was my first vrbo where we had to buy everything from salt and pepper to laundry soap to toilet paper. We liked the location as it took less than 10 minutes to get to the beach.
The layout of the house was great and we loved the view and pool. The only problem we had was the home is advertised for six people but there was nowhere in the house for six people to sit together. There was not a space in the home with seating for more than four. Typically when you rent a home in a beach town for a beach vacation The home comes with basic necessities like a cooler and beach chairs. Beach towels were included but only five were provided not six. Also Iâm not really sure why they thought giving us one extra trash bag for a week stay with a family of six was sufficient. It seemed like the house was recently purchased and the bare minimum was done to rent it out.
We spent a weekend in this home and it was so peaceful. The home was spacious and stocked with towels, blankets, and even some paper products. The pool was heated prior to our arrival and was perfectly relaxing. The canal was serene and full of potential for fishing and kayak launching! We will definitely be back!
