Wonderful stay over Xmas with family: quiet, clean, great view, and comfortable. We came without car, and enjoyed being close to city and fish market. (Property is halfway up a hill; which guarantees great views, but will be challenging for those with mobility issues.) Unsure why the review asks about vineyard; it was not something we experienced. Will gladly come back!

Loved this place. So close to downtown and all the hood restaurants and bars. Beautiful view of the city. The property manager was very responsive and the house caretaker was very nice. I will definitely book this place again.

Fantastic Accommodations & First Class Hospitality

The condo was clean and beautifully designed and maintained. Fidel and Katina were very responsive via app messages, text, and calls. Luis (property manager) welcomed us at the community gate and is incredibly friendly and helpful. The morning of our check-out, we decided to Uber back to the border instead of take our planned shuttle, but we were unable to successfully book an Uber back (likely because of the migrant caravan in TJ that weekend). Katina went above and beyond by helping us secure a safe and helpful driver back to the border (Adrian - an extension of Katina's team). Adrian helped us navigate the chaos at the border as a result of the migrant caravan. Usually it is VERY easy to cross back into the US, but this weekend had it's challenges. We were very appreciative to have the El Refugio team for support. Because we were treated so well, we will absolutely be coming back to stay at El Refugio when we're back in Ensenada. Special thanks to the El Refugio team for going above and beyond. Thank you!
