It's unusual to find a rental with this much character. You feel it the minute you step inside this lovingly maintained historic home with gorgeous stone fireplace and soaring ceilings.(Fire was laid for us, when we arrived!) Warm wood panelled walls with enormous picture windows and views in every direction. (Site photos are accurate) We loved taking morning coffee in sun-flooded DR,watching little birds and wildlife skitter around outside. From lovely stone patio we could contemplate Longs Peak (any hour).House feels secluded (great star-gazing!) but you're minutes from town, and RMNP park entrance (walk-in trails, too!) Easy to spend time in the house itself, so comfortable - large airy bedrooms with good mattresses & closets. Two full baths with double sinks.Tiny 3rd bath, corner shower- 6'2" son bumped his head but that's a minor quibble -- house itself is HUGE. Game room with pool table was a bonus! Large bright kitchen, thoughtfully equipped -- not just plates & mugs, but crystal wine glasses, plenty of pots&pans, (good quality), every kind of kitchen utensil.New appliances (including large refrigerator and full size washer/dryer). Well stocked cleaning supply closet. You don't need to bring a thing. We visited in the Fall, when evening temperatures plunge -- we had to turn down the thermostat because heat circulated so well. We loved Beth's Camelot! Hope to return next year.
