To be fair we didn't contact the hosts. We simply went home a day early. We were prepared for no wifi however we were only able to get the dvd player to work once. The corn hole game outside was missing a leg so we had to prop it up on rocks to play. The hammock ripped out from underneath my 12 year old. The cold water tap in the bathroom didn't work at all and the shower shut off on me mid shower! The treehouse is very clean and has a cute theme. Previous reviews were excellent, so needless to say we were disappointed.
Wanted to make memories with our kids and this was a success. The house was cozy and clean, the little touches of decor to fit the theme was fun and the kids loved it. The host responded quickly when the propane was out and came and replaced it within 15 min. While it rained we sat and watched Peter Pan and other classics. Overall we had a great visit. The grill could use some tlc so make sure to bring foil/ grill pans.
The Treehouse was everything we were hoping for. We met our adult daughter and her husband there, which is halfway between where they live and we live. The treehouse itself is even more charming than the pics online would suggest, and it's even a bit roomier than expected. Huge deck. Nice fire pit. Nice hiking, even if a bit farther from the lake than hoped for.
We had a very relaxing Valentine's weekend. We had no issues finding and getting to the location. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed roasting hot dogs and smores. We woke up on our last day to snow. The view was amazing. We had a wonderful treehouse experience.
Wife and I stayed here for two nights. It was a great rustic getaway. Remote location in the middle of the woods, so expect to drive on a gravel road and then a very short stint on dirt. For as remote as it seems, the cell service was still good (AT&T), and I was able to hotspot and stream on the TV (there was no wifi). Just realize that you are booking a literal treehouse, so expect some creaky floors, etc. Kitchen is small but has the essentials. Water pressure was a little low, but the water runs and gets hot. We stayed during cold fall weather, so we had the provided electric heater running constantly, but it was able to keep the space warm enough for us. The deck is great and we saw some deer and rabbit visitors, even spotted a bald eagle fly over. Place was adequately clean, especially considering it's location. The ladder leading to the upstairs area is steep and could use some better railing, but its a cute little room up there with 2 twin beds. Overall very impressed with this place.
Great place to stay for a night or two I thought it was easy to get to the treehouse with giving directions phone service is fair and fair enough to turn on hotspot and connect the tv with no issues (AT&T service)
We just needed a place to park it for the night on the way home from a cross-country roadtrip and let our kids choose between a fancy hotel in OKC or a cabin in the woods. They chose the cabin and we all loved it! The cabin was clean, had plenty of linens and we enjoyed watching old Peter Pan DVDs in lieu of WiFi. The last section of road leading up to the cabin is definitely very washed out and gave my 4Runner a run for its money on brand new tires so while a previous review said 4WD is required, I would disagree with that, but the washed out sections could use some attention!
Lost Boys is pretty accurate for this tree house âŠ
Pretty nice tree house . Nice fire pit , has a horse shoe pit area , also has bean bag toss area . About ten minutes or less from a loading dock are to drop in boat or jet skis .
The location was incredibly peaceful, the treehouse was amazing and well laid out. Richard and his wife were incredibly accommodating! We would recommend anyone who is looking to give this place a go! We will be back for sure!!
