Nancyâs Retreat was the perfect place for our family to celebrate UO graduation. The home was beautifully done and so comfortable. There was plenty of space and everything was clean and comfortable. It was also the most well-appointed property we have ever stayed in - plenty of towels, cups, mugs, silverware, etc. It is an easy walk to the UO campus and to some of our favorite restaurants and pastry shops (donât miss Sweet Life Petite!). We enjoyed it so much we tried to book it for the 2026 Eugene Marathon while we were still there but unfortunately, someone beat us to it. We also got to meet (from a distance) the local resident buck, who was napping in the back yard when we arrived! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.
This house was spotlessly clean, adorably decorated, and fully stocked with anything you would need. It was a short walk through a lush quaint neighborhood to Hayward Field and to restaurants and bars â perfect for our trip to watch the NCAA track and field championships.
We were looking for a place that was close to Jane Sanders Stadium to watch Oregon softball take on UCLA (Oregon won the series!) This home is on a lovely street in a quiet neighborhood and was just a 10 minute walk to Hayward Field and The Jane. Itâs also a short walk up to Hendricks Park where the Rhododendrons were in full bloom this time of year. The house was in immaculate condition and was very well appointed with incredibly comfortable beds and pillows. There were lots and lots of towels in both bathrooms and the water pressure was great.Everything is brand new and the kitchen was a dream to prepare breakfast and lunch. My husband loves his eyes so he was very excited about the ice machine in the freezer!Iâve stayed in many rental homes in the Eugene area and this is one of the few where I would absolutely stay again!
Our group of 8 had everything we needed. The two full size foldout beds in the living room were a nice surprise so no one had to sleep on the couch (though they could have as it was large and comfortable). We registered our two cars online in order to be able to park and paid 40 to the city for our 3rd car to be able to park legally. The instructions were in the home manual. Location was great and the space was well appointed and clean. Would suggest an additional knife or two as there was just a large cleaver and steak knives to use to carve our Thanksgiving turkey and ham (makes for a funny memory). Would definitely stay again!
Everything was good. Property owner needs to get onboard with the parking permit process. Getting a permit to park on the street in front of the house shouldnât be a major issue when on vacation. Other than that no issues.
The five of us couldnât have asked for a more perfect home to live in for 3 short nights. This home could have comfortably slept a few more with the Murphy beds in the living area, but the three bedrooms were great for our group. Eugene is an amazing, unique, and fun college town and you are right in the heart of everything going on when staying at Nancyâs retreat. We came to town for a wedding and left having a deep, lasting memory of a place and time that will continue to resonate in our lives.
The house was as described and nicely remodeled. It was very hot during our stay so not having central air made sleeping hard. The bedrooms could use some split units. We had trouble with Vacasa, the property mgt company. The trash was not removed from the prior renters and was overflowing into the yard. Several texts to vacasa from both us and the owners did not resolve the situation. The owners tried to help but they are not local. The neighborhood was great and we enjoyed local restaurants and walks. Despite a mediocre job by the property management company, I would still recommend this cute house in a great area.
Visiting Hayward Field or Knight Arena - just stay here!!!
This newly remodeled, small home is perfectly located if your in town for track at Hayward or a basketball game at Knight Arena as both are within walking distance. The neighborhood is very quiet and super cute. The kitchen and bathrooms have been neatly remodeled with nice new appliances and modern touches. Iâd stay here again.
Our family had a great stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Easy walk to the University of Oregon.
Thank you for a great stay in Eugene. Our family had a wonderful time.

We had a group of masters athletes staying at the home. The home is as described and worked very well for our group. The kitchen is adequately provisioned. There is no AC as advertised and we needed the provided fans. The parking seems to be limited to 2 vehicles, which should be included in the property description. Since we didn't know there was a limit, we weren't strategic about which cars we registered. There is street parking a few blocks away that are outside of the zone restrictions. Proximity to Oregon campus is amazing.
This was the perfect house. Weâve stayed ain my homes and hotels around campus and this is definitely one of our favorites! The house is nicely appointed and itâs only less than .5 mile to campus. There are plenty of restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!
The home was a perfect place for our stay! Clean, super comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. Only improvement could have been better describing that you register your car with the city once you get into the house. The information folder had the steps to follow. Weâll def be back!
