The room had multiple fixtures either broken or rusted over like the showerheads, towel rack and lamps in the room. Felt like I needed a tetanus shot when I left just in case. The curtain for the front of the room was too small to cover the reflection of the mirror so anyone walking by could see into your room. The parking lot had a fountain that looks like it had been destroyed and left to rot. There were multiple, questionable fixtures up high on the wall that appeared to be either a dismantled smoke detector or a camera. Not sure(tried taking a video). The bedsheets had cigarette burns all over. The pillow cases were yellowing. The outlets were so loose the phone charger would fall out of it. Got up in the morning and I thought I could see someone walking past my door from my peripheral vision. Look over to see a mouse darting back and forth looking for a way out. Not to mention the fire department and paramedics coming to wheel someone away while i was packing my car to leave. Also i booked a king bed room, but got a 2 queen bed setup even though I was traveling alone and requested the single non smoking king bed room in my reservation. Every bit of this place was subpar and in need of cleaning or repair.
Was it a roof over my head and a bed to sleep in? Yes. Was it any more comfortable than sleeping in my car, parked up on the street. Not really. Been there done that. Normally don’t complain but this place.. definitely left an impression on me for future consideration.
