Exorbitantly overpriced, taking advantage of a shortage of rooms in Fargo due to multiple events. It was uncomfortable to be in--as it was lived in and was as if the residents cleaned the fridge and then just left for a few days. Noisy due to the unit above in an old building. Lighting was not good, has an old building smell. The dwellers had decorated it very cute and for a personal apartment--fine. But for a VRBO for 400 a night: absolutely not. I ended up not staying for the duration of my booking and moved to a hotel further out.
From the outside and hallway I was a little skeptical about what I booked until I entered and saw the character and warmth. Hardwood floors, cool furniture, very functional kitchen and bathroom. 10 minute walk to downtown Broadway area. 10 minute drive to NDSU. Definitely recommend and Noah (property manager) was very responsive and helpful.
Arrived just after checking time found the apartment recently used with one bed stripped but bedding was available. Temperature/heat controlled by HOA by hot water with no thermostats available. If you enjoy a cool sleep its perfect. Kitchen stays about 68F living room 65F. Had a good time with family and outside of having to use blankets when sitting it was fine. VRBO agent needs to pre-check this the next time before paying cleaning fees.
Location and decoration were great but the apartment was a bit cluttered with ornaments and the ownerâs property. Although having lots of condiments, food (and even toiletries) available to âuse a little, leave a littleâ we felt a bit like Goldilocks in someone elseâs house. There was little space to empty suitcases or store anything.
