The hotel itself was great. Staff was welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and maintained. Breakfast was good (waffles/continental on weekdays, eggs and sausage on weekends). Please note that if you're a light sleeper or do not use earplugs, expect to have many disruptions throughout the night - people talking loudly right outside the doors, drag racing on the main road, noisy a/c, etc. This was no fault of the hotel or the staff (they really were wonderful), but it is something to be aware of.

Clean, Comfortable, some small things to fix

We had two rooms. Both rooms look like they have been recently updated, and the floors were very nice, the fixtures and furniture were as well. If the beds were new, they might want to think again about the style. The mattresses were comfortable and everything was clean. However, when you sit or lay down on the bed, and get up off of it, and roll over, the metal frame "pops" and can wake you up! All the beds did this. The room temperatures were comfortable. The bathrooms still need updating: the floors were washed, but there were stains on them; same with the bathtubs. The paint on the bathtub walls was also peeling in both rooms. The breakfast foods were delicious (hot eggs and meat only served on weekends, and were good on Saturday). The coffee was very weak and looked like cola. The rest of the foods and drinks were good, and we appreciated the chocolate milk! The staff was polite and helpful, both on the phone and in person. Good price for our stay. We might return, especially if we learn the bathrooms get updated with fresh floors, unstained tubs, and fresh paint. Rest of the room was so nicely done.

Great service, needs new bed frames

The bed frames are metal so we’re a bit squeaky/noisy. I move around in my sleep, so it woke me up a few times. Otherwise, it is clean, a little dated, great location, and excellent service from the employees.

This is a two-story old hotel with no elevator to the second floor. Even if your room is in the middle of the hotel you have to walk to one of the end of the building or the other and go up the stairs every time you go back to your room. In my room wall electrical outlets did not work and the shower curtain rod was hanging by one screw at each end And the curtain would come to the middle and flood the floor when you were taking a shower. The building is old the nighttime check in clerk what is passive and Disinterested

The room was dirty. They didn’t clean it on Saturday. The refrigerator didn’t cool properly. When I went to get clean towels I was told that I had to bring them to them before they’d replace them. I told them they were supposed to do that themselves and was told that they don’t do that.Breakfast was watery eggs and disgusting sausage links.

It was actually pretty good for a motel. The staff was so nice, and there were so many walkable food options around. My room wasn’t the cleanest, but I already planned to use wipes to wipe down the surfaces anyway, so it wasn’t inconvenient for me. The free breakfast was also decent. It was definitely not bad at all and definitely got the job done for a short trip. If I was traveling there again, I would rebook.

Carpets need good shampoo and vacuuming. TV remote did not work; Front Desk Clerk found another one for me. Breakfast was mostly cold. Liked location of hotel and room was large and clean.
