Right across the road is the Prince Edward County Clerk's Office built in 1855. Less than 1 mile from Hampden Sydney College, established in 1775 (10th oldest college in the US.)

Briery Lake and Sandy River Reservoir (fishing spots in Prince Edward) are 5 minutes and 15 minutes away respectively. The property where the Worsham Farmhouse is located has Angus Beef Cows on sight, bee hives/local honey, and an outside farm cat that enjoys greeting anyone who wants so attention.
