Great welcome from Martin on arrival and he cooked and served an excellent breakfast the following morning. My room was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed, but there is a noisy pump to give sufficient water pressure for all the showers, which annoyed me and woke me up - however you do get a very powerful shower!
very good, was in the "Small room" this room is plenty big enough for a single bed and serves its purpose.
I start work early so the take my breakfast to work is really good, a bacon sandwich where others will not reduce your stay as they don't do breakfast until 7am... I start work then!!!
Nice small cosy hotel. Had an overnight stay over due to business meeting near Frimley. Good internet speed.
Excellent Homemade breakfast topped it off
The Guest House was great and the welcome couldnt have been more friendly. The breakfast was faultless and the staff very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The one small issue that stopped it being perfect was the noise of a waterpump which seemed to start at 6am and go on and off. We were in room 2.
Ideally situated and parking was a bonus. Pub down the road (the squirrel) served really good pub food. The en suite was spacious and fairly modern; the breakfast area was great with plenty of tables and a great selection of food/drink. The full english breakfast though was the highlight.
Great stay, room spacious, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. The owner Martin has great local knowledge and is more than happy to help with all your needs. Thank you
Unfortunately when we arrived both bedside lights in our twin room were not working. Because of the position of the furniture the lead for one of the lamps was not even long enough to use! This showed a remarkable oversight to detail. We pointed this out to the young lady and other lamps appeared by the time we arrived back from eating our evening meal, so thank you for this.
We agreed with your sentiment regarding too many towels unnecessarily being washed and would gladly have placed our towels on a towel rail, HAD THERE BEEN ONE! Most inconvenient and glad we were only staying one night. There was plenty of wall space to have had two sets of towel rails.
Food was reasonable, but tinned tomatoes just don't cut for us and why do you not serve MUSHROOMS with breakfast? Lots of fancy ways with boiled eggs, but we really did not want Hollandaise sauce - too rich for first thing in the morning. May be you are trying too hard and keeping things simple but offering good quality might be better?
These three things sadly loose you points in our eyes, as otherwise it was a lovely Bed & Breakfast place.
Very nice setting in a traditional suburbian neighborhood. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and can keep you going until dinner time. Also, there a couple of nice restaurants in walking distance.
We was greater by the owner right from the word go with such a friendly welcome, checked in quickly and shown our beautiful room. Very nice decor, very comfy beds, the most powerful shower with fluffy towels. Had a nice sleep followed by one of the best full English breakfasts I've ever had (sausages to die for). Will stay here again for sure. Five star treatment that is real value for money.
Everything perfect, we were greeted as we pulled into the car park and made to feel very welcome. Beds very comfortable, room spotlessly clean. Full English breakfast in the morning was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Nothing was any trouble. Great value for money. Defiantly will stay there again. A+++++
