Escape to Helen's Lakeview Cottage—a charming 1-bedroom, 1-bath retreat backing right up to Harrison Lake State Park. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful solo escape, this cozy, open-concept cottage offers lake views, access to hiking trails, and endless opportunities for relaxation or adventure.

Unplug completely—there’s no Wi-Fi or TV—so you can fully immerse yourself in nature, reconnect, and recharge. We have a radio with Bluetooth and a cabinet full of games to keep you busy.

There is a queen size bed and a full bathroom stocked with essentials, including fresh towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, a hairdryer, and a first aid kit.

The kitchen offers all the essentials including a toaster, coffee maker, blender, cutting boards, bake-ware, an assortment of spices, and condiments in the fridge.

Out back you can sit in our comfy chairs by the fire pit, roast some hotdogs or make s'mores and enjoy the view. There is wood to purchase at the local store around the corner, Anchor Bay.

A newly installed air-conditioned keeps the place nice & cool in the summer. And a wall unit keeps you warm in the winter.

First set of paper products are provided, such as bathroom tissue and paper towels.

Keys & local recommendations are on the cork board by the front door. We ask that you limit your trash to 2 bags & place them in the outside trash can when you leave.
Wash all dishes before you leave. Please take care of Helen's Place, we want to keep the home clean and comfortable for all guests.
