This house is everything you see in the pictures and much more. The indoor pool is fantastic, especially if you have kids with you. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the large dining room table. The location is perfect as it's a quick drive to South Haven and Saugatuck. The hidden gem is the Glenn Convenience Store for any last minute needs you have. They also have good pizza and sandwiches. We would definitely stay here again.

Memorial Day Reunion

We had the most amazing time this past Memorial Day weekend at the compound. It felt like a luxury summer camp and was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The indoor pool and hot tub were quite the hit and we were very grateful to be swimming when the weather was chilly outside. They also have a beautiful fire pit area and a corn hole area nearby. We are already trying to plan when to come back. Michael was extremely communicative the entire time and was a great host.

Bethlehem Eastern Trumpets

Staying at Crawford on Adams Family Compound was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and clean, and Michael was always available to answer our questions. Highly recommended this place for any families who would like to have a family vacation where they’d love to be together and share. Adams Family Compound has a main house with an indoor heated pool equipped with towels that we enjoyed. To the side of the main house were cabins that are a few feet away from the main house with awesome showers. The house is equipped with a huge dining room that accommodates everyone to share a meal. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of cooking utensils and all we needed was just buy groceries. We had plenty of space to sleep, the showers were spacious and were all equipped with clean quality towels with wash clothes and soap in each bathroom. Another thing that stood out is the hospitality of the host. One of our family members accidentally left the car key behind after checkout, and when we inquired, the host responded within minutes with a picture of where the key was located. The next day he mailed it to us promptly. Again, I highly recommend this place and would like to stay here again.Note: The only thing I would recommend to the host is to change some of the door locks, especially the one for the bathrooms. Other than that, the place is cozy, clean and welcoming. Thank you, Michael!

Cousins Weekend

We stayed at the Family Compound for our annual Cousins Weekend and had an amazing time. The main house and cabins were all beautiful. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. We had a group of 15 people and still had 2 empty bedrooms and never felt crowded. We loved the huge table in the dining room. There was room for all of us at the table. We even called it the “last supper table”, as it was so big. We will absolutely stay here again!!

Fun weekend

Very well appointed and thought out property for entertaining large group we gathered as a large 27 group extended family to celebrate my parents 50th. Kitchen and common areas were great and the indoor pool area was a hit with the kids!

Great stay!

We loved this place! It was perfect for our large family get together. We had 9 kids 2-8 and the indoor pool was perfect for keeping them busy! We also brought snow gear and they played outside on the playground - the playhouse was a big hit! Everything was very clean and we had plenty of space between the main house, cottage, and smaller cabins. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and even was helpful after check out, offering to mail back an item we forgot. We had all the basics we needed and had a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend!

Family Thanksgiving

Our multi generation family of 18 spent Thanksgiving weekend there together. Plenty of room for everyone and the cottages helped give time away when needed. So many hooks for towels was great for the pool. Kitchen was well equipped but one oven kept shutting off which made cooking for a big group difficult. Otherwise we had a great time! Sp manyh9ka

Great family reunion

We chose this place to have our family reunion. Couldn’t have been happier. The indoor pool was wonderful as the weather had cooled off while we were there. The location is great. We made trips to saugatuck and south haven. The kitchen was big enough for all of us to eat together. We cooked in each night. Plenty of room for all our supplies. Having 2 refrigerators was great. Had a bonfire a few nights. Chairs provided. Each night deer would come to visit. Plenty of room outside for the kids to play Kids loved the play area. The cabins were nice bonuses for those who couldn’t handle the stairs in the main house Had a few minor problems. Michael was quick to take care of it. This house worked out great for us

Excellent accommodation

We had a group of 10+ that work together. The 2 houses, and 2 bunkees allowed for everyone to have their own private space while enjoying the large communal areas for our meeting and socializing. Close to lots of activities in both south haven and Saugatuck- would recommend for a business retreat or large family reunion. The indoor pool was a great added bonus!

Awesome Wedding Weekend!!

We stayed at the family compound for our son's wedding. There was plenty of space for everyone, the indoor pool was amazing, and the kitchen was perfect for the Rehearsal dinner. And everything was very clean!! Michael was a terrific host - we highly recommend staying at this property!!

Great family experience

We hosted a large family reunion at Michael’s property and it was a huge success! The main house was very accommodating and provided lots of space for our group to relax, play, and visit. The deck and large TV room were a hit with children and adults, the kitchen specifically was perfect for cooking for a large group. Michael was very responsive to our little requests. The children particularly loved the indoor pool. We also appreciated the ability to spread out over the various buildings on the property. The houses were clean, well kept, and well stocked. Overall we’ve been doing this reunion for decades and this was certainly one of the best places we’ve stayed. We highly recommend Michael and his properties.

Great accomodations for all the extended family

Great accomodations for all the extended family. Able to enjoy summer family vacation with all the children and grandchildren. Michael was a great host and was able to secure additional Pack and Play and high chair for the young ones.

perfect for a large family retreat

perfect for our large family vacation - ages 1-87. kitchen was very well stocked - more than we expected and much better than other rentals i’ve experienced. the indoor pool is large and perfect for the whole family to enjoy. hot tub was a bonus. large backyard for activities. the location is a little farther from south haven than expected but easily accessible within 10-15 min drive. not a location for use of a golf cart. beaches within 10-15 min drive. despite the less than ideal location, overall the house/property was enjoyable and management was responsive in addressing our needs during our stay. would recommend this home and would consider staying again in future.

Amazing Home with every Amenity You Can Think Of

I selected this home based off its location and size for a work retreat/team meeting. The home was clean, well lit and well stocked. The kitchen had 2 or more of everything! The grounds and additional buildings were amazing and great for those that like to get away or stay up later and not wake the rest of the house. I would stay here over and over again! Host was very responsive and professional.

Thanksgiving Family Weekend

We had a great family weekend at the house for Thanksgiving! The house was clean and there was plenty of room for everyone. We felt at home all weekend. The pictures don't do it justice! The pool house was great for the kids and adults to relax in the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a big Thanksgiving meal and then all sit together at the dining room table. The house was equipped with plenty of smart TV's and we were able to listen to music through them as well. The caretaker cottage was also a nice surprise with a little living room and small kitchen. The general store on the corner is great if you forget something. We were also close to Saugatuck to go shopping and get dinner one night and visited Waypost Brewing down the street for a beer tasting. We highly recommend this house to a big group looking to spend some quality time together!

Weekend Getaway

Stayed here with several family members and friends. The property has so much space for everyone to have comfortable sleeping arrangements. The location is perfect and close to several wineries which we ventured to. We loved the long dining room table, beautiful kitchen and pool area. We had an amazing time! Thank you to Michael and his staff, they made this weekend easy!
