The Hotel Divino is a beautiful, modern facility, with fun designer touches a la Dali. The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious with modern bath features, towels, etc. The staff was wonderful and all were fluent in English, making our time there easy. The only downside was that when we entered our beautiful room on a day when the outside temperatures were in the mid to high 70's (24-26C), our room was very hot. We were told that we could turn on the air conditioning as long as the windows were closed. Sadly the A/C didn't work. Our room was changed (easily) for another issue, but the second room had the same problem with the A/C. Since it got cool at night, we chose to leave the windows open and it was quite comfortable with overnight temps in the low 60sF (16-18C.) We like fresh air but there was a fair amount of noise coming from the square outside. In spite of that we managed to sleep. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are beautiful, and we had a great time in Figueres. Hotel Divino is a good place to stay and centrally located. Parking is expensive but easy to get to. (21 euros/day) We didn't have the breakfast buffet but it looked great. At 18 euro pp, it was just more food than we wanted to eat. There is a great coffee shop around the corner that has good breakfasts and coffee for significantly less money. We highly recommend Hotel Divino.
