Located on the stunning 110 acre grounds of this private estate, enjoy the sprawling grounds, hiking trails, and private lake for you perfect getaway! Just 1 hour and 10 minutes from Midtown NYC, a short 8 minute drive to the city of Beacon, and a 14 minute drive to the city of Cold Spring!

Enjoy swimming, kayaks, row boats, hiking, and exploring the bucolic grounds!

As one of two units in the Gate House, Chestnut comfortably accommodates up to six guests. The unit features two bedrooms — one with a king bed and the other with two twin beds — and a full-size futon in the loft (open to below). The living room and kitchen boast cathedral ceilings, creating a spacious and airy atmosphere.
A working wood burning fire place is the perfect way to end your day!

Chestnut can be combined with our Hickory cabin. For larger groups, a three-foot hallway can be opened to combine both sides of the house, accommodating up to 12 guests.

Chestnut also features an outdoor picnic table, brand new gas grill, and private lake access making it perfect for enjoying the serene surroundings of the Hudson Valley.
