This property made our daughter’s wedding!!! Wedding was at a venue, but we had guests from 10 states. These two homes and courtyard allowed us to have a family reunion in addition to attending a wedding. We were able to eat, visit, and play together!! There are not many homes like this and we are so grateful we found this one! The four days were full of love, laughter, and memories!! Thank you for making this possible!!

Fantastic

We had an amazing stay at the Spruce with a large group of friends. The home was spacious and perfect for accommodating all of us, providing plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other's company. It’s a newer property with a beautifully updated, modern style, and the kitchen was especially great for cooking, offering tons of space and all the amenities we needed.We loved spending time in both the indoor and outdoor areas. The nearby walking path was a nice bonus, offering a peaceful way to explore the neighborhood and enjoy the surroundings.The rental company was fantastic to work with—communication was easy, and they were incredibly attentive to our needs. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located retreat.

Great place for families to gather.....

We had a total of 16 people, but this place, with the bunk rooms, can accommodate many more. Everyone can gather together on the main floor or spread to the game area on the second floor. Great communication with the owners too! Very well appointed too!

Amazing house and property

The house was beautiful and spacious and suited our group perfectly. It was nice there were bedrooms on every floor so the older family members could stay on the main floor and not have to navigate steps. The house layout was great and had everything we could have needed and/or wanted. Back patio was beautiful. Everyone was very pleased with the house and we were thrilled it allowed so many of us to stay together and maximize our family time together. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great for large groups

Fantastic place! We stayed in both units for our daughters wedding with immediate family and entire wedding party. Made it such a fun weekend. Easy to separate different ages and have quiet floors for older guests. Did yoga and sound bath in the courtyard each day simply beautiful. Lots of parking and lots of refrigerator and freezer space was so helpful when entertaining this many people.

Troop 61 Salem NY Grand Canyon trip

Great property, never found the address number on the building so that was confusing. Ice machine on fridge didn’t work but we bought a few bags. But we had a great stay overall and would highly recommend it to large groups. Will definitely book again

Great Family Reunion!

Spruce Retreat was perfect for our family reunion in early July. We have family members that are under one year old up to the patriarch who is nearly 101. Having main floor access to group areas, restrooms, kitchen/dining and bedrooms was ideal. The additional upstairs play/gathering area and bedrooms was also comfortable. Certainly our favorite space was the shaded decks. The cool, peaceful environment was nourishing for all of us. Thank you!

2024 Family Reunion

Of all of the vacation rentals I have stayed at, " The Gathering Place" was by far the best! I absolutely was impressed with the layout of the floor plan, cleanliness and how our family was able to enjoy so much comfort for a party of over 30 guest. I would not hesitate to rebook and highly recommend it to others! It was like being together in a huge 3 story home with a dining area with plentiful seating for meals, board games and just all being together. I loved every minute of my stay and the price was very competive for all the amentities that were including. Definitely a *10*

Great, Family Gathering place

We stayed here for my son's graduation from NAU. This was a phenomenal place to stay and have the whole family together. Was so clean and just as advertised. 3 suggestions I have would be curtains for the big windows that face the courtyard, for privacy. Second another full sized refrigerator, as the one is just not big enough for the food and drinks, for that many people. And lastly, a way to assign parking or the such, as it was very difficult to always try and rearrange cars or find a spot.

Our large, extended family stayed at this property for several nights. It is large, well stocked, and a great location for a large group. There are enough beds to accommodate a very large extended family. The host was great in communicating with us. We look forward to staying here again.

Amazing House

This house couldn’t have accommodated us better. We were nervous about having 33 people but the layout was perfect. The multiple bunk bed room was the best for all our kids. The host was always available and we look forward to staying here again.

Excellent, in fact others in our Group were impressed and stated their intentions to reserve.

We had an international Rotary Youth Exchange group with several adult chaperones - 30 people total. The location and the accommodations were wonderful. The large spaces were perfect for spreading out and having plenty of room for all of us. The furniture was nice, the beds were comfortable, and towels and toiletries provided were plentiful.

Great property

The property was as described. Accommodates a large number and is well supplied with necessities. Nicole was very responsive to our needs and was quick to resolve the few needs we had. The parking for our house was a bit tricky in that we had to either back the cars in or out down a hill and with a curve in it. Parking for other like property appeared good. We would definitely stay at this property again. Close to shopping for necessities.

Wedding weekend gathering

We had a wonderful time with around 25 people. My husband's side of the family and my side of the family. And also the bunk room for groomsmen and our son the groom! And second bunk room for cousins. It was wonderful to work together for breakfast on Saturday morning and we all enjoyed each other's company!
