Worst stay of our European vacation
Great location but the apartment was old and in need of maintenance. It felt like low priced university accommodation being sublet for the summer holiday (eg poster in kitchen with instructions for students). Bathroom sink didn't drain, dishwasher didn't work, aircon leaked onto the floor in the doorway of the main bedroom (slip hazard), couch was sagging, many stairs to carry suitcases up, feet got dirty walking around barefoot and there was sticky stuff on the floor in places. Oh, and the building power went out when we had more than 1 electrical appliance on (ie, we had to turn off the aircon on a 38 degree day in order to use the stove top to make dinner), which required running down many stairs in the dark to the basement to turn the power back on! Definitely not worth the high price! It seems the apartment was leased through a reseller as our personal information was passed onto someone else and we had to be let into the apartment in person and sign another physical lease agreement. They called multiple times to confirm our arrival time, but then we ended up having to call them to be let in as no one showed up at the agreed time. We were glad to only have booked for 2 nights!
